WAEC GCE Nov/Dec Registration Closing Date: This is to inform the general public that following the publication of the 2021 WAEC GCE November/December Registration Guidelines, The West African Examinations Council also released the registration closing date for the 2021 WAEC November/December  WASSCE (Private). Its certificates enjoy international recognition. WAEC has also been promoting the ideals of hard work and honesty in the youth through its awards for outstanding performance in its examinations.

The Council conducts several international and national examinations in all member countries except Nigeria where it has shed all but one of its examinations, The West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for School Candidates and Private Candidates (First and Second Series)

Registration Deadline

The West African Examinations Council has extended the registration period for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for Private Candidates, 2021 to 31st August 2021.

The decision to extend the date for the registration of the examination is due to the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic, on the examinations calendar of the Council. 

However, the Council will make available to all stakeholders the timetable for the conduct of the examination.

Meanwhile, the Council is encouraging everyone to adhere to the protocols put in place by the government to curb the spread of the virus.

Now, that schools have reopened and full academic work is in session, wassce candidates can begin preparing for their final exam.
