6.  Short Term Japanese Language Course

Course description

Short Term Japanese Language Courses are available for students who wish to study from 1 to 3 months with a focus on speaking and communication skills. Classes are held in Japanese with a large amount of interaction between students. Depending on the student level, classes will be held in the morning or in the afternoon.

Placement test: We have classes for all levels and students will take an exam before classes start in order to determine placement. The first week you will have the placement test and the opening ceremony and classes will start a few days later.

Start dates: Courses start every 3 months (January, April, July, and October). Short term 3 months course must start in January, April, July or October because our courses are organized on a 3 months basis. So every 3 months students have a final test and according to the exam they go to the next level, skip levels or repeat the class.

Duration: Our programs are organized on a monthly basis. For short term courses, students can choose between 1, 2 or 3 months. However, 1 month, of course, doesn’t mean 30 days or 4 weeks. It means simply April or May or June and so on.

For example, 1 month of course that starts on April 11 would have end date April 27. From April 28 till the end of the month we have holidays because it’s Golden Week. Each session (spring, summer, autumn, and winter) has 3 months of class or 50 days of class so that if we divide 50 per 3 we have an average of 16,(6) days of class per month.

Accommodation: Our accommodation will be available on a monthly basis and you will be able to check-in from the beginning of the month. For short-term students, please check the availability of accommodation with one of our student advisors.
