First Bank Denver: The safety and soundness of our customers and their deposits are our utmost priority. Our strong, continued growth over the years can be attributed to our many wonderful customers who have recommended us to their family and friends as well as our outstanding team of employees. We invite you to join our family of customers.

First Bank Denver History

FirstBank started from humble beginnings in 1963 and has since grown to be one of the largest privately held banks in the nation with over $19 billion in assets and over 110 locations throughout Colorado, Arizona, and California.

Our growth can be attributed to one simple belief since inception: do what’s right for customers, communities and employees, and good things will happen.

This philosophy has transformed how we operate and is the inspiration behind our mantra, “banking for good.”

It’s why we’ve become recognized as a top workplace, one of the largest corporate philanthropists in Colorado and Arizona, and continually ranked high in customer satisfaction.

When you focus beyond the bottom line and make people a central motivation for every decision, you’ll find it’s not just the right thing to do, it’s the smart thing to do. That’s “banking for good”.
