How the Ministerial List in Nigeria is formed

In Nigeria, the system of appointing ministers is via geo-political zones. In other words, the list is to inculcate all facets of the nation. Thus, it is not to focus on an aspect of the nation.

Additionally, this means that the ministers must come from the 36 states that make up Nigeria. And it should include the Federal Capital Territory, FCT. Thus, making it 37.

The Current Ministerial List in Nigeria

Currently, Nigeria has 45 Ministers. And they are managing 24 ministries. Also, these ministers were appointed by President Bola Tinubu.
