Getting yourself an additional certification will be an ideal thing to do now as the world keeps evolving around new things daily.

Amazon AWS Certified Solutions Architect

Amazon AWS Certified Solutions Architect certificate assists organizations in identifying and developing personnel with crucial capabilities for cloud implementation.

The ability to design and deploy distributed systems on AWS is validated by obtaining an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification.

About AWS

Amazon Web Services (AWS) started providing businesses with IT infrastructure services in the form of web services in 2006, which is now known as cloud computing.

One of the most significant advantages of cloud computing is the ability to substitute high upfront infrastructure expenditures with minimal expenses that grow with your company.

Businesses no longer need to prepare for and purchase servers and other IT equipment weeks or months in advance thanks to the Cloud.

Instead, they can quickly spin up hundreds or thousands of servers and give speedier results.

Amazon Web Services now supports hundreds of thousands of organizations in 190 countries across the globe with a highly dependable, scalable, and low-cost cloud infrastructure platform.

Customers across many sectors are benefiting from data center sites in the United States, Europe, Brazil, Singapore, Japan, and Australia.

Who Should Apply for AWS Associate?

Anyone with one or more years of hands-on experience making available, expense, fault-tolerant, and extensible distributed systems on AWS should apply for the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification.

We suggest that you have the following items before taking this exam:

1. One year of practical experience on AWS experience, including utilizing computation, connectivity, storage, and database AWS services, as well as AWS configuration and administration services.

2. Experience establishing, operating, and maintaining workloads on Amazon Web Services (AWS), as well as applying security measures and meeting regulatory requirements

3. Use of both the AWS Management Console and the AWS Command Line Interface is required (CLI).

4. AWS Well-Architected Framework, AWS networking, security services, and the AWS global infrastructure are all things you should know.

5. Ability to determine if AWS services match a certain technical need and to specify technical criteria for an AWS-based application.

Tips on How to Write AWS Associate Exams

Tips on How to Write AWS Associate Exams

The AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification is one of the most sought-after designations for cloud engineers.

Although there are other public cloud providers, Amazon Web Services (AWS) credentials are the most in demand since Amazon has the highest market share.

Having this on your CV is incredibly advantageous, whether you are a skill – building engineer or a consultant by profession.

To be clear, the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate test is not simple. It’s not a test where you can purchase a library of practice questions, go over them again and again, and hope to pass.

The test is mostly scenario-driven. Anyone interested in learning how to prepare for AWS certification should keep the following in mind:

AWS questions are written in such a manner that only someone with real-world expertise and knowledge of their services can qualify.

How to Pass the Exams

In order to pass this exams with flying colours, the following tips should come in handy;

1. Acquire the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner credential

Yes, this post claims to show you how to get your Solutions Architect – Associate degree.

However, if you have no previous AWS technical expertise or knowledge, I highly advise you to pass this exam first. This test is just a howling overview, and if you study every day, you can pass it in two weeks.

Even if you have previous AWS expertise, you should still take this test since the certification examinations include AWS services that you may have never utilized.

To pass this test in under two weeks, you’ll need the following:

1. Take the Certified Cloud Practitioner course from A Cloud Guru (ACG). Because you’ll utilize ACG significantly for the AWS Solutions Architect test, you’ll want a complete membership to this, not simply the Udemy version.

2. ACG also offers a portion of AWS labs that are really useful in passing the test.

3. Take a look at these sample examinations. Please keep in mind that these practice examinations only cover the toughest problems on the exam.

4. If you’re having trouble with the practice examinations but are near to passing, you should perform well on the real test. The real exam is a lot less difficult than these.

Passing Suggestions

◂ Take notes and arrange them throughout the course so you may utilize them as part of your Solutions Architect test study guide.

◂ On the day of your test, watch all of Ryan’s summaries twice as fast. This is a fantastic way to summarize what you need to know.

2. Pass the ACG AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate Exam

While this course alone will not be sufficient for a total rookie to pass, it is nevertheless a fantastic course that will serve as the basis for your test preparation.

It covers everything on the exam in some fashion, with a few holes here and there (which we’ll get to later).

Suggestions for the Course

i. Make detailed notes and organize your notes into a study guide.

ii. Download the lectures for offline listening with the A Cloud Guru app. While doing tasks like driving or walking your dog, replay lectures and summaries.

Daily immersion, such as this, was a big part of my preparation method.

iii. Don’t forget to participate in the hands-on labs. Using AWS is, in my view, the greatest method to understand AWS. This will greatly aid in the internalization of lecture information.

3. In-depth Examinations of Certain AWS Services

As previously stated, most individuals will not be able to complete the ACG course on their own.

There are a few services that will appear often on the test, and you’ll need a firm grasp on them to succeed.

Using them with hands-on laboratories is the greatest approach to learn what you need to know.

The following are the places where you should go deep:

a. VPCAmazon

I first struggled with a general knowledge of VPCs, and Cole Morrison’s explanation and examples were quite helpful. If you’re unsure about VPCs, I highly advise you to read it. Also:

▸ Complete the ACG VPC Hands-on Labs. These are located in the Training Lab segment of the course, outside of step #2.

Complete each lab by filtering on “AWS” and “VPC.” They simply take a few minutes each yet are really beneficial.

▸ The test has a lot of VPC questions. Learn how to construct one from memory. Recognize the distinctions between utilizing a VPN and using Direct Connect.

b. S3 Amazon

Take a look at the A Cloud Guru S3 Master class course in sections. For the test, you don’t need to study the full course; only a few topics show up often, such as:

1. Control lists vs. bucket rules

2. Options for S3 encryption

3. Types of storage

4. Policies that cover the whole life cycle

c. Rds Amazon

Take the ACG Intro to RDS course, focusing on topics that come up often, such as:

a. Replication in Multiple AZs

b. Check out Replicas.

c. Recognize snapshots

d. RDS logo from AWS

d. Kinesis On Amazon

Make sure you have a thorough understanding of AWS Analytics and data warehousing tools:

▸ Streams vs. Firehose vs. Analytics in Kinesis

▸ Redshift vs. EMR vs. Kinesis (you will get scenario-based questions with these)

▸ Differences between Athena and Kinesis

e. Serverless Components And Amazon Lambda

AWS Lambda is a service provided by Amazon Web Services. Take the ACG Intro to Lambda course, but concentrate on the following points:

What events and services are most often utilized with Lambda triggers?

Serverless will almost certainly appear on AWS tests in the future, so you’ll want to be prepared.

4.Read the Whitepaper on AWS Storage Services Overview

You’ll be asked a lot of scenario-based questions on which storage to utilize. You’ll want to understand how they vary and when to utilize each (e.g., EFS vs. EBS, S3, DynamoDB vs. RDS)

5. Become Familiar With the Exam’s Test-taking Strategies

i. When faced with a scenario-based inquiry, start with the kicker: Scenario-based inquiries usually begin with a long paragraph, followed by a “kicker” that asks the question directly.

Read the kicker before moving on to the scenario. Example:

“You’re creating a transcription service for a firm in which an uploaded audio file is processed by a fleet of EC2 worker instances, which produces a text file as an output.”

Until the pleader retrieves the text file, you must keep both of these frequently used files in the same persistent storage.

You must verify that the storage is scalable and can be recovered within minutes due to an anticipated rise in demand.

“In this case, which AWS storage solution can you utilize that is both cost-effective and scalable?”

The final sentence is the real kicker. Pay close attention to what they’re asking.

They will often give you with a number of viable options, but you must choose the ones that best match your needs (in this case, cost efficiency and scalability).

ii. For each question, use the elimination procedure:

Almost every question will contain one or two answers that are clearly not the correct answer. You’ll have a better chance of picking the proper one if you can get rid of them straight away.

While this may seem self-evident, it is critical to utilize on the AWS SA test since they will often attempt to deceive you. Look for obvious techniques and mentally mark them off your list.

iii.  Questions should be read twice:

The majority of the questions are designed to be challenging.

Don’t simply take a quick peek and then respond. One tiny adjustment in the language may easily affect the correct response, and rushing can lead to making the erroneous decision.

iv. Make use of the “Mark for Review” option:

On the actual test, you’ll be able to mark answers for later study and then go back at the conclusion to double-check them.

Furthermore, when a question is difficult, choose the best option and mark it for further consideration depending on how much time you have left. Use this feature.

v. On the actual test, use questions to answer additional questions:

One of the key reasons to utilize “Mark for Review” is for this reason. In many circumstances, the answer to one question might also be the solution to another.

I saw this on my test a couple times and was able to go back and amend a prior answer as a result. This is why you should “review” anything you’re not sure about.

6. Take Practice Exams on Udemy

Take Practice Exams on Udemy

Purchase and complete this set of Udemy practice exams. Please keep in mind that these practice examinations are very demanding and reflect the most difficult questions you’ll face on the real exam.

The real exam is less difficult.

As a general rule, if you pass these practice examinations (even if it’s just barely), you should be able to pass the actual exam with ease.

7. Take an Udemy course if you want to

Udemy courses also offer a great function where you can search for a keyword and it will show you where that word is referenced throughout the whole course, which you can then click on and listen to.

However, if you keep missing questions regarding AWS KMS, for example, you can just search for it in the Udemy course, and it will show you every area where it was mentioned.

Watch all of the ACG Solutions Architect Summary courses on 2x speed the morning of the test, just as you did for Cloud Practitioner. This is quite beneficial in terms of reviewing what you’ve learned.

Requirement for Obtaining AWS Certification

You must pass the Amazon AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate exam to achieve this credential (SAA-C02). There are two types of questions in the exam: multiple choice and multiple responses.
