This is to inform all the candidates that participated in the Benue State University, Markudi (BSU) just concluded post UTME aptitude test that the management of the institution has released their results.

How to Check BSUM Post UTME Result

1. Go to BSUM post UTME result checking portal at https://portal.bsum.edu.ng/applications/utmeScreening.jsp.

2. Enter your JAMB registration number where required.

3. Click on ‘Verify’.

4. Finally, scroll to the end of the page to locate and click on ‘Proceed’ so as to access your BSUM post UTME result.

BSU Post UTME Results Analysis

The Vice-Chancellor of Benue State University, Prof. Msugh Moses Kembe has expressed satisfaction with the conduct of candidates who sat for the 2019/2020 Post University Tertiary Matriculation Examination, PUTME which ended on the campus recently.

The PUTME was written by a total of 7,303 applicants out of the over nine thousand who applied to the University through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Examinations Board’s Universal Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME).

The Computer Based Aptitude Test was held from Wednesday, 2nd to Friday, 11th October, 2019 and results of the candidates were released as soon as they finished the examination.

An analysis of the results shows that the general performance was satisfactory with a good number of candidates scoring 40% and above.

Furthermore, over 60% of candidates that sat for the Post-UTME in the Faculties of Arts, Law and College of Health sciences scored above 50%.

The Management of the University has since commenced a forensic analysis of the entire exercise, preparatory to commencement of the admission exercise for the 2019/2020 academic session.

According to the Vice-Chancellor, the entire Management of the University is happy that the exercise was hitch free. The Vice-Chancellor also explained that the outcome will ease the shortlisting of qualified candidates for the offer of admission by JAMB.
