Mike Rowe Scholarship 2023, which is fully funded by the Mike Rowe Works Foundation, is presently accepting applications from eligible students.
The Mike Rowe Scholarship 2023
The Mike Rowe Scholarship Program aims to assist individuals who may not possess the highest grades or test scores but exhibit a remarkable work ethic and personal accountability.
The scholarship program acknowledges the belief that these attributes contribute to overall success in life, extending beyond academic achievements.
It provides financial assistance to students who are committed to diligently mastering a trade skill. Additionally, the program offers guidance and mentorship to aid recipients in excelling within their chosen fields.
The program welcomes skilled workers and students from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
Educational Criteria for Mike Rowe Scholarship
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following educational criteria:
1. High school seniors, graduates, or those who have obtained a GED equivalent and are either currently enrolled or willing to enroll in an accredited two-year college, technical school, vocational institution, or other approved technical institute within the United States.
2. Students who are currently enrolled or have the intention to enroll in an approved vocational or similar trade-related program.
3. Applicants who have plans to complete their trade-related program after December 1st, 2020.
4. Students who have previously received educational scholarships from the Mike Rowe Scholarship Foundation are not eligible to participate in the Mike Rowe Sweat Pledge.
Documents Required for Mike Rowe Scholarship
To complete the scholarship application, the applicant must provide the following documents:
1. Fully filled School Cost Form.
2. Copy of the first page of the most recent IRS Form 1040.
3. Completed Short Answer Questions for the S.W.E.A.T. Pledge.
4. Transcript of grades. This should include academic records from high school, vocational-technical institutions, or colleges attended. Grade reports are also accepted.
5. Two (2) Reference Questionnaires that have been duly completed.
6. Signed S.W.E.A.T. Pledge.
