ACCA Registration: Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) is the global professional accounting organization offering the Chartered Certified Accountant qualification.

In this post, I will guide you through the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants ACCA registration process in Nigeria.

It promotes principles-based regulation. ACCA actively seeks to enhance the value of accounting in society through international research. It takes progressive stances on global issues to ensure accountancy as a profession continues to grow in reputation and influence.

ACCA Nigeria has a growing enrollment of over 12,000 students, associates, and individuals. As a graduate of Accountant, it is recommended to add the Chartered Certified Accountant qualification to your degree as it increases your chances of landing a job and gives you edges among your competitors.

Graduate-Entry Qualification for ACCA

For B.Sc in Accounting and Banking and Finance, and HND in Accounting, you are qualified for exclusion in four papers after presenting your transcripts. The papers are:

  • F1 Accountant in Business AB
  • F2 Management Accounting MA
  • F3 Financial Accounting FA
  • F4 Corporate and Business Law CL

For ICAN ACCA students, you will be exempted from all the nine exams inside the Fundamental level and you will register directly at the Professional level after presenting your transcript. The exclusions granted are:

  • F1 Accountant in Business AB
  • F2 Management Accounting MA
  • F3 Financial Accounting FA
  • F4 Corporate and Business Law CL
  • F5 Performance Management PM
  • F6 Taxation TX
  • F7 Financial Reporting FR
  • F8 Audit and Assurance AA
  • F9 Financial Management FM

ACCA Registration Process in Nigeria

The following are required to complete your ACCA application:

  • Proof of identification; driver’s license, passport or birth certificate.
  • Official translations of any document that is not in English.
  • If applying to study for ACCA qualification, you will need to upload evidence that you meet the minimum entry requirements.

After gathering all this, you can proceed to the ACCA official website to begin the registration process by filling the form.

Important Information ACCA Registration

The ACCA registration process will take about 10 minutes to finish. You will have the chance to apply for exemption in the middle of the procedure.

If you do not meet the registration requirement to begin the ACCA qualification, which are OND, ND, HND, B.Sc, B.Tech or any similar qualifications, you should begin your exams by going through the Foundations in Accountancy courses before you can proceed with the ACCA qualification.
