Lateral admission to B Pharma is also offered to students with D Pharmacy (Diploma in Pharmacy) qualification. The lateral entry system allows students to get admission into the second year BPharm directly. Hence, in 3 years students can earn a BPharm degree, instead of 4 years (normal entry).

BPharm Eligibility

Students must fulfill one of the following criteria for B Pharm admission:

  • Class XII with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics (Basic BPharm eligibility)
  • Completed D Pharm course from a PCI (Pharmacy Council of India) approved institution. This is lateral admission in the second year of B Pharmacy course.
  • Through entrance exams like MET, BITSAT, NIPER JEE, KCET, etc.
