Benefits of Government Of Brunei Darussalam Scholarships
1. Accomplished students will receive a complete exemption from university tuition fees.
2. Economy class airfare will be provided for international travel from the student’s home country to Brunei.
3. A monthly allowance of BND $500 will be granted.
4. A monthly meal allowance of BND $150 will be provided.

5. Students will receive an annual book allowance of approximately BND 600.

Eligibility Criteria
This award is exclusively available to foreign nationals; Brunei Darussalam Permanent Residents are ineligible. In order to qualify, applicants must satisfy the following criteria:
1. For Undergraduate and Diploma programs, be under 25 years old on the first day of July in the year when the course/program commences.
2. For Postgraduate Master’s Degree programs, be under 35 years old on the first day of July in the year when the course/program begins.
3. Possess English proficiency, demonstrated by a Credit 6 at the GCE ‘O’ Level Examination, a Grade ‘C’ in IGCSE English (as a second language), an IELTS score of 6.0, or a minimum TOEFL score of 550.

1. Recent passport-size photograph of the applicant.
2. Officially certified copies of academic certificates.
3. Certified true copies of academic transcripts.
4. English translation of non-English documents, duly certified.
5. Personal statement outlining the applicant’s goals and aspirations.
6. Valid birth certificate.
7. Current passport.
8. Statement of security clearance.
9. Letter of reference or recommendation.
