Dr Alex Ekwueme is now accepting applications from suitably qualified students into the Alex Ekwueme Commemorative Scholarships for students. It is a fully-funded scholarship for all students.
About Alex Ekwueme Commemorative Scholarships
Dr Ekwueme has a close affiliation with Strathclyde, having got his PhD in Architecture from Strathclyde. In 1979, he was elected the first Vice-President of Nigeria.
The value of the award is £5,000 and will be awarded as a contribution to accommodation and living costs during the duration of study at Strathclyde
Applicants to this scholarship must hold an offer to study a postgraduate taught programme within the Faculty of Engineering from September 2022.

2. Applicants must have applied or applied to the University Of Strathclyde, UK
3. Applicants must have completed their undergraduate degree program
4. Applicants must be fluent in English and have exceptional communication skills
Application Process
Applicants are asked to complete the Dr Alex Ekwueme Commemorative Scholarship Application Form, which will be reviewed by the Faculty of Engineering staff and one successful applicant will be selected.
