About FCT Scholarship Board
The FCT Scholarship Scheme has been in existence since 1980s. It has witnessed several transformations from being a Unit under the office of the Head, Department of Education under the office of the Secretary for Education to a Unit known as Education Support Scheme as established in 2006 by the then Minister of FCT, Mallam Nasir Ahmed El-Rufai. FCT Scholarship – This is to notify all students of FCT origin studying in accredited tertiary institutions in Nigeria and Oversea, pupils and students in primary and secondary schools, DME centres, parents, and the general public that Scholarship Application Forms for 2021/2022 Award Session are now available for sale.
1.) Screening of Fresh Applicants in Nigeria Tertiary Institution
Date: 17th – 22nd July 2021.
Venue: L.E.A Offices in all the six area councils of FCT.
Time: 9.00am – 3.00pm daily.
2.) Screening of Fresh Applicants in Foreign Tertiary Institution
Date: 31st July 2021 – 4th August 2021.
Venue: FCT Scholarship Board Head Quarters.
Time: 9.00am – 3.00pm daily.
Special Notice
It is mandatory for all applicants to come along with the following original documents:
- Admission letter
- Student Identification Card (ID)
- Primary/Secondary School Certificate
- Receipt of payment of school fees
- Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
- Certificate of indigeneship
- Current Academic records.
Note: Candidates should have it in mind that there will be no screening by proxy.
