How Much is JAMB Form? However, the eRegistration Portal is now set to be accessed. The scratch cards will soon be made available and can be purchased from the following banks; Zenith Bank, Sky Bank and First Bank.

eRegistration Portal: The JAMB Mandate

The Act (promulgated the legal instrument establishing the Board No. 2 of 1978) of the Federal Military Government on 13th February 1978. By August 1988, the Federal Executive Council amended Decree No. 2 of 1978.

The amendments have since been codified into Decree No. 33 of 1989, which took effect from 7th December 1989.

Decree No. 2 of 1978 (amended by Decree No. 33 of 1989) empowered the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board to:

(a) conduct Matriculation Examination for entry into all Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education (by whatever name called) in Nigeria

(b) appoint Examiners, moderators, invigilators, members of the Subject Panels and committees and other persons with respect to matriculation examinations and any other matters incidental thereto or connected therewith.

(c) place suitably qualified candidates in the tertiary institutions after having taken into account:

(i) the vacancies available in each tertiary institution

(ii) the guidelines approved for each tertiary institution by its proprietors or other competent authorities

(iii) the preference expressed or otherwise indicated by the candidates for certain tertiary institutions and courses

(iv) such other matters as the Board may be directed by the Honorable Minister to consider or the Board itself may consider appropriate in the circumstances.

(d) collate and disseminate information on all matters relating to admissions into tertiary institutions or any other matter relevant to the discharge of functions of the board.

(e) carry out other activities as are necessary or expedient for the full discharge of all or any of the functions conferred on it under or pursuant to this Decree.

Candidates will, however, be issued the book at the point of registration after showing evidence of payment (the statement stated).

How to Buy JAMB 2024 UTME e-registration scratch card?

The interested candidate can buy JAMB 2024 UTME e-registration scratch card from any of the banks in Nigeria Note; the form is not returnable after purchase from the bank.

JAMB 2024 Registration cards can be obtained from the accredited banks listed below;

JAMB eRegistration Portal: Prerequisite

1. Purchase your Scratch Card from any of the approved selling points.

2. Download the e-registration form template.

3. Fill it and get your recent (Not more than 3 months) Passport Photograph scanned into JPEG format.

4. Take the filled form along with you to any of the approved Registration centres and ensure that your two (2) thumbs prints are captured (Biometrics).

5. This can be done (with DIGITAL PERSONA Scanner ONLY) online or offline.

6. No Licence is required for DIGITAL PERSONA Scanner.

7. Biometrics details and complete registration details can also be captured offline.

8. Your PIN and Serial Number shall be required during Offline and Online registration.

9. For ease of registration, you are advised to capture your Biometrics and complete Registration details offline.

After offline data capture, please confirm that they have processed the captured data before going online.
