JEE Main 2021 Syllabus has been released. It comprised of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Architecture, and Planning related subjects. Before preparing for exams, students should gather all the details regarding the syllabus for better preparations.

In this article, candidates can check the officially prescribed JEE Main 2021 Syllabus in PDF.

JEE Main 2021 exam will be organized by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for Engineering, Architecture & Planning admissions in IITs, IIITs, and NITs. It is a national-level examination that will be organized by the NTA from 2021. 

JEE Main Syllabus 2021

The examination will take place four times a year in February, March, April, and May respectively. Candidates can attempt all or any of the phases In order to clear this examination candidates must most prepare for it in an organized and systematic way. JEE Main Subject Wise Syllabus (B.E/ B.Tech Paper)

Candidates can check the JEE Main syllabus subject wise which comprises of syllabus of Physics, Chemistry, and mathematics. You will have to prepare for each subject in order to score well in the examination.

Candidates may use NCERT books in order to prepare for JEE Main 2021. Here we have mentioned some important topics of the syllabus from each subject:

Physics Syllabus:

Below we have given the syllabus for B.Arch/ B.Plan examination:

Mathematics Syllabus:

Sets, Relations and Functions, Quadratic Equations, Matrices and Determinants, Complex Numbers, Mathematical Induction, Sequences and Series, Limits, Continuity and Differentiability, Applications of Binomial Theorem, Permutations and Combinations, Integral Calculus, Differential Equation, Vector Algebra, Co-ordinate Geometry, Three Dimensional Geometry, Trigonometry, Probability, Statistics, and Mathematical Reasoning.

Aptitude Test Syllabus:

Part 1:

Objects

Texture related to build environment & Architecture

Visualizing 3D objects from 2D drawings.

Visualizing different sides of 3D objects.

Analytical Reasoning & Mental Ability (Numerical & Verbal, Visual).

Awareness of persons, Buildings, Materials.

Part 2:

3 D perception: Appreciation & understanding of scale & proportion of objects, Elements & building forms, contrast & harmony, Colour texture

Abstract shapes & patterns in pencil.

Transformation of forms both two dimensional (2D) & three dimensional (3D) union

Development of surfaces & volumes,

Rotation & subtraction

Generation of Plan,

Elevations & three dimensional (3D) views of objects.

Creating two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) compositions using given forms and shapes.

Sketching of scenes & activities from memory of public space, festivals, markets street scenes, recreational spaces etc.

Landscape & rural life.

Note: Candidates need to bring their pencils and erasers, geometry box sets, colored pencils, and crayons to the JEE Main Paper 2 Aptitude Test.

AAT Syllabus:

Freehand Drawing: Simple drawing showing the entire object in its right proportion and form, surface texture, and details of its components in suitable scale, relative location, Ordinary domestic or everyday life utilizable objects like equipment, furniture, etc.

Geometrical Drawing: Activities in geometrical drawing containing lines, triangles, angles, quadrilaterals, circles, polygons, elevation (side or front views) of simple solid objects like cones, prisms,  splayed surface holders, cylinders, cubes, Study of the plan (aerial view), etc.

Three-dimensional Perception: Perception and appreciation of 3D forms with building elements, Visualization through constituting objects in memory, volume color, and orientation.

Imagination and Aesthetic Sensitivity: Composition activity with given elements, Creativity test through uncommon innovative check with recognizable objects, Context mapping, Logic of color grouping.

Architectural Awareness: General awareness and interest of famous architectural creations – within the country and outside, places and celebrities (architects, designers, etc.).

JEE Main 2021 Exam Pattern

JEE Main 2021 Pattern comprises questions from Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry. In JEE Main B.Tech paper questions will be asked from chemistry, physics, and mathematics.

In B.Arch/ B.Plan paper comprises of three parts – An aptitude test, drawing test and mathematics in B.Arch and Aptitude test, Mathematics and Planning Based Questions in B.Plan.

Paper of B.Tech/ B.E will consist of a total of 90 objective type questions and a total of 30 questions will be asked from each subject.

Paper 2 comprises 30 questions from mathematics, 50 questions for the aptitude test, and 2 questions for the drawing test.
