JIPMER 2021 Counseling | Check Schedule and Admission Process
JIPMER MBBS 2021 Counseling will be conducted in the fourth week of June 2021. It will be conducted through offline mode. Total 200 seats will be made available for MBBS programme.

Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry is the authority that organizes the JIPMER MBBS entrance exam. It is a national level examination. This exam will be organized for providing admission to the MBBS course offered by JIPMER, Puducherry & JIPMER, and Karaikal.
JIPMER Counseling 2021
The University will release the list of candidates who qualify for counseling. Candidates will be shortlisted for the counseling based on the entrance exam scores.
The counseling process comprises various steps like registration, biometric fingerprint verification, photo/image verification, documents verification, seat allotment, etc. Candidates can participate in the counseling as per their rank.
JIPMER Cut Off 2021 will be published after the result announcement. It will be released in June 2021. Cut off will be the minimum marks student have to obtain to clear the examination.

Counseling Procedure
The counseling procedure of JIPMER PG 2021 will be organized in various rounds via offline mode. Candidates are advised to be present at the allotted venue on the prescribed date and time. The various rounds conducted for counseling are:
Round I
The first round of counseling will be started from May/ June 2021 for MD/MS programs. For the M.Ch/DM programs, the counseling rounds will be started from May/ June 2021. In the first round, a list of candidates who will be shortlisted has to be physically present/ report at the institution for MD/ MS.
Round II
The second round of counseling will be started in June 2021. In this round, the authority will release the list of course-wise vacant seats left after the first counseling. Shortlisted ranks for the 2nd counseling process will be released by the board.
Final Counselling
After the second counseling, the remaining vacant seats left will be allotted to the remaining candidates in the order. The third round of counseling will be started in June 2021. Candidates, who did not make a choice, can also participate in this round.
Open Counselling
Open counseling will be held by the authority if in case the seats still remain vacant after all rounds of counseling. The open round of counseling will be started through online mode. The authority will release a list of eligible candidates and the number of vacancies for final counseling.
JIPMER Admission 2021
The admission of all the candidates will be based on merit, category & availability of seats at the time of JIPMER 2021 Counselling. Candidates will have to report at the allotted college on the due date given in their admission letter to complete their JIPMER admission procedure 2021.
In case, the competent authorities find that admission will be offered based on wrong documents/information, the candidate’s admission will be canceled. Candidates will have to pay their admission fee to confirm their seats. Otherwise, the seat will be allotted to the next candidate.
