NEET 2021 Cut Off will be released by NTA through online mode with the release of NEET 2021 results. Cut off is the minimum mark required to qualify for the NEET exam.

NEET 2021 Cut Off

NEET 2021 Cut-off will be the minimum qualifying marks which the students will have to attain in order to get selected for the further admission process. The cut-off marks will different for every category. It will be calculated based on various factors – number of appearing candidates, level of difficulty of the exam, the performance of appearing candidates, etc.

The cut-off will be declared along with the declaration of the NEET result. It will be available online mode. Students will be able to check the official cut-off after the declaration of the result.

Cut-off will be releasing the conducting authority after the declaration of the result. After the release of the qualifying cut-off, the respective authority will release a cut-off under 15% All India Quota Seats for different categories.

Factors Affecting Cut Off:

The cut-off marks vary each year. The cut off list is prepared based on different factors which are given below:

  • The total number of candidates who appeared in the exam
  • The difficulty level of the exam
  • Student’s performance in the exam
  • Previous year cut-offs, etc.

NEET Result 2021

Candidates will be to check NEET 2021 results through online mode. Candidates will be able to check their results in September 2021. Candidates will have to enter their roll number and date of birth to check the result. NEET scorecard will not be provided via offline mode.

On the basis of the rank list, students will get admission to various colleges in MBBS & BDS courses. If students obtain the same marks in the examination then the tie-breaking method will be applied. The following method will be used for tie-breaking:

  • Students secure higher marks in Biology subject in NEET 2021 exam.
  • Candidates obtain higher marks in Chemistry subject in NEET 2021 exam.
  • The student with the lowest number of wrong question attempts in all subjects of the NEET exam.
  • If the tie still persists, students older in age will be considered.

NEET 2021 Counseling

Candidates will be able to participate in the counseling process according to their rank in the NEET 2021 exam.

NEET counseling 2021 for 15% AIQ seats will be organized by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and counseling for another 85% state quota seats will be regulated by the respective authority.

Counseling for 15% AIQ seats will be conducted through online mode. Candidates will have to fill their choices of colleges during the counseling process.
