UGC NET will be conducted two times for the year 2021. National Eligibility Test is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the Union Grants Commission. Indian candidates must appear in this examination for the post of Assistant Professor and Research fellowship program.

UGC NET Result 2021

The provisional result of the examination will be declared one week after the successful completion of the examination. The candidates will be able to check their results through online mode.

The NTA will not issue the mark sheet for qualified or not qualified candidates. Candidates must take a printout of the result for further use.

UGC NET 2021 Result Date

The NTA will declare the UGC NET result 2021 through the online mode. The examination will be conducted from 15th to 20th June 2021.

The result will be announced on 5th July 2021. Candidates will be able to check their results by entering their roll number, application number, and date of birth on the website login page.

Candidates will be able to access it via online mode. No candidates will be informed individually about the release of their results. The marks of all the candidates will be uploaded on the website after declaration of result.

How to Check UGC NET Result 2021

• Go to the official website link (ntanet.nic.in).
• A new result page will be opened on the screen.
• Enter your roll number, application number and date of birth and click on the submit button.
• Your result will appear in the PDf format.
• Download it and take a printout of the result for further process.

UGC NET Answer Key 2021

After the successful completion of the UGC NET examination, the exam conducting authority will release the answer key for all papers. UGC NET answer key will be published in the month of June 2021.

Authority will also provide the facility to challenge the OMR Sheet/answer key for candidates. For challenging each question, candidates will have to submit the Rs. 1000/. If the challenge is accepted by the authority, the fee will be refunded.

UGC NET Merit List 2021

A separate category-wise and subject-wise merit list will be prepared for the candidates who obtained the qualifying percentile of marks. The top 15% of candidates from the merit list will be declared NET qualified for eligibility of Assistant professor only.

Among NET qualified candidates, a separate merit list will be carried out for the award of JRF. The qualifying marks criteria are set by the NTA/UGC will be final.

UGC NET 2021 Selection Procedure

Candidates qualifying for the entrance exam UGC NET 2021 will be selected in the subject & category-wise merit list. The top 6% of the total students who have appeared for both papers in the test will be considered qualified in the entrance test.
