The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) is an examination board that conducts the West African Senior School Certificate Examination, for University and Jamb entry examination in West African countries. In a year, over three million candidates registered for the exams coordinated by WAEC.

The WAEC Physics Practical Alternative A will take place on an announced Date and the Physics Practical Alternative B will be written on a subsequent date.

The physics practical is usually divided into 3 questions (comprising Mechanics, Waves and Electricity) with a few other general knowledge calculations.
