What Is WAEC Verification?

WAEC Verification is an online solution that enables candidates of Universities, Polytechnics, Colleges of Education, Organisations and other related institutions to check and verify WAEC results of candidates and anywhere in the world.

Verification of WAEC PIN is a pre-programmed electronic card with a unique PIN and S/No that is required to verify any WAEC Result Online.

Those who want to change their name or date of birth on the NYSC website will also need a card.

Difference Between WAEC Verification PIN & WAEC Scratch Card

Verification PIN displays the candidate’s full record, including Name, Date of Birth, Passport Photograph, Subject Grades, School Name, and so on (similar to WAEC Certificate).

Whereas WAEC Scratch Cards/Result Checker displays the candidate’s record, including Name, School Name, Subject Grades, and so on (similar to WAEC Certificate) (resemblance of WAEC Statement of Result).

The WAEC Verification PIN is more expensive than the WAEC Scratch Card/Result Checker.

The Verification Pin can check both 8-Digits and 10-Digits Examination Numbers, which the standard WAEC Result checker cannot.

The WAEC Verification PIN can correct names, dates of birth, and passport photos that are on the NYSC Portal.

You only have to pay about 2,500 Naira for the Verification Pin and you pay it online.

How to Change NYSC Date of Birth Using WAEC Verification Pin

• Visit the NYSC portal https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc
• Login in to your NYSC Profile Account after typing your username and password. Click on resume
• To change NYSC date of birth
• On the NYSC Profile Dashboard, click on the green button Change D.O.B (WAEC)
• Next in the field/place provided:
• Type in your Verification Pin; see here on how to purchase it online from us
• Select Your Exam Type (WASSCE for School Candidate or for a private candidate;
• Select Your exam Year;
• Type in Your Exam Number;
• Tick on Place Request
• Click on Update Date of Birth, a message we show showing that the request has been submitted for approval
• Click on the red button close, and wait for the Senate to approve of your request for the change of NYSC date of birth

How to Use the Card

• Go to the WAEC Verification portal (the link is in the mail received after the purchase).
• Enter candidate Exam No and select year.
• Select Type (School Candidate, Private Candidate).
• Enter PIN & S/No got after placing an order on this website into corresponding boxes.
• Click Submit button and wait to see your result.

If you intend to use it for correction of data on NYSC Portal, once you ordered the cards, click on the service link on NYSC Portal, supply the PIN and effect the changes.
