1. What field experience do you have for a Pediatric Nurse Position?

I have been working with computers since 2001. Also, I have a degree in network support/computer repair.

Additionally, I have built my last 3 computers; have worked with Dell as an employee. So I have around 15 years of experience working with computers.

2. What have you done to improve your knowledge of a pediatric nurse position in the last year?

Answer Sample

I believe everyone should learn from his or her mistakes. Also, I always try to consult my mistakes with my kith and kin, especially with elderly and experienced people.

Furthermore, I enrolled myself in a course useful for the next version of our current project. I attended seminars on personal development and managerial skills improvement.

3. Tell Me About Yourself

This is a common question during an interview, possibly the most asked. And it is used as an icebreaker. Also, it gets you talking about something comfortable. But you need to have something prepared for a response.

However, you don’t want it to sound memorised. The fact is that the interviewer isn’t interested in your life story.

However, unless asked otherwise, focus on education, your career, and present situations. You should work chronologically, starting as far back as possible and working until the present.

4. Tell me about your ability to work under pressure?

Answer Sample

Pressure is actually a catalyst for my work. When there is an imperative deadline, I refocus my energy on my work, which in fact, has helped me to produce some of my best works.

(Give examples) I guess you can say I thrive under pressure.

5. What do you find difficult about being a nurse?

Answer Sample

I think the hardest part of being a nurse is when I have a patient that is very unhappy, or in a lot of pain, and I can’t comfort them to the degree I’d like to.

Also, I keep a dialogue going with the attending physician so that she has as much information as possible regarding the patient’s pain level.

However, sometimes the patient doesn’t effectively communicate with the doctor, and I try to help bridge that communication gap.
