HEC Indigenous Scholarship 2023, which is fully funded and sponsored by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, is presently accepting applications from eligible students.
The HEC Indigenous Scholarship 2023
The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) has announced 5000 Indigenous fellowships for local students pursuing MS/M.Phil/PhD degrees in various universities throughout Pakistan.
Eligible candidates interested in applying for the scholarship can find all the relevant details about the program and submit their application before the deadline.
HEC Indigenous Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
1. The scholarship is available to individuals who are nationals of Pakistan or AJK.
2. Candidates applying for the MS/Mphil program must have completed at least 16 years of education by the application closing date of March 28, 2020, without receiving a third division or grade-D throughout their academic career.
3. Candidates who are already receiving any other scholarship from HEC/Government are ineligible to apply.

4. The scholarship is only applicable to full-time, regular students. Candidates who are employed must take study leave for the entire duration of the program.
How to Apply for HEC Indigenous Scholarship
1. All applicants must submit their applications through the online portal (eportal.hec/gov.pk). There is no need to provide hard copies of applications or other documents at this stage.
2. Applicants must provide the original online deposit slip/ATM transfer slip as proof of the Rs. 500/- (non-refundable) application processing fee. The payment should be made in favor of the Director General, Finance, HEC.
3. The fee can be deposited into the account number 1742-79001334-01 at Habib Bank Limited through any bank.
