2. Job Title: Contract and Procurement Manager

Location: Lagos
Job summary

  • As a Contracts and Procurement Manager, you will understand, develop, manage and control all facets of contract formation, negotiation, and management and provide technical guidance and oversight of the procurement function to all levels of staff and management on a global level.
  • He/She will lead and support the entire procurement life-cycle for all goods and services that the organization procures.
  • Successful candidates will apply professional purchasing concepts, standards, and organizational objectives to complete complex procurement/contracting assignments. He/She will lead and collaborate with business units and offices in establishing quality improvements and process efficiencies.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Acquire supplier market knowledge and maintain supplier relations as required
  •  Plans organize, directs and controls the contracting and procurement function
  • Responsible for the management of Procurement Activities such as Purchasing, Expediting, Logistics, and Material Handling
  • Develop and implement Contracting and Procurement Strategy

  • Maintains total responsibility for the complete contracting and procurement function and reports operationally to Project Management and General Operations Management and functionally to SVP Supply Chain
  • Contribute ideas for improvement of best practices
  • Liaise with other internal stakeholders (Finance, Legal, Business Development, Estimating, Engineering, Operations Manager, General Operations Management, etc.)
  • Establish service and frame agreements in Nigeria Other duties as assigned
  • Visit local operation offices/shore base regularly to ensure unified procurement processes worldwide
  • Contribute with input to life cycle cost considerations

  • Possess a degree or equivalent experience

  • Good understanding and knowledge of the technical, contractual and commercial issues related to design and engineering of Floating, Production, Storage and Offloading vessels
  • Experience in offshore oil and gas industry is an advantage.

3. Job Title: Project Engineer

Location: Lagos
Job Summary

  • Maximize project efficiency and profitability, determine project specifications and acquire the necessary materials for completion, develop scope and parameters for project design and implementation, Identify project responsibilities, delegating phases and elements to the appropriate personnel, develop and control the full project-plan lifecycle.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist the construction manager to establish project objectives, procedures, data collection methods, and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy

Location: Nigeria
Job Summary

  • The drilling manager is responsible for drilling, production, and engineering operations for an organization
  • Manages the planning and execution of drilling projects, the development of oil and gas fields, and the analysis of reserves

  • Prepare and summarize progress reports for management and client staff.
  • Track and guide the work and performance of engineers and peer engineering groups.
  • Manage and assess staff progress, and recommend newer methods through researching markets and government guidelines.
  • Coordinate with geologists and other professionals during designing and calculate torque and hydraulic data accurately.
  • Ensure accuracy and completion of reports before submission to the petroleum department.
  • Prepare resources as per requirements, support drilling personnel and recommend optimization technologies

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree holder with a minimum experience of 10 years in drilling operations, five years of which in supervisory role.
  • Should have excellent command in English both verbally and written.
  • Must able to adapt and work effectively in a multi-disciple environment.
