1. Project Coordinator-Job Description and Duties

The project coordinator is responsible for providing support to help Project Managers complete projects on time and within budget. Other responsibilities include:

  •    Assisting Project Managers by sending out correspondence and mailings to linguistic teams.
  •    Assisting Project Managers in planning project schedules.
  •    Assisting in the coordination of the translation of documents and the subsequent editing/quality assurance processes.
  •    Reviewing documents prior to delivery.
  •    Delivering projects to clients as instructed to meet all required timelines.
  •    Performing project-specific maintenance and input of data within our key business systems including WorkFront.
  •    Using linguistic knowledge to support projects.


  •    Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
  •    Knowledge of database functions and concepts.
  •    Ability to organize and patronize workloads.
  •    Foreign language skills and formatting skills.
  •    Good communication and interpersonal skills.


The salary for this position ranges from $35k-$46k.

2. Business Development Manager-Job Description and Duties

The business development manager is responsible for building long-term and mutually beneficial relationships with current and prospective clients. Other duties include:

  •    Selling LanguageLine’s full suite of language solutions to both new and current clients.
  •    Identifying new client leads and or business opportunities.
  •    Achieving assigned revenue quota.
  •    Developing and executing strategies to provide translation and localization solutions to current and prospective clients.
  •    Representing LanguageLine Solutions and promote sales to current and prospective clients.
  •    Obtaining management approval of all proposals and estimates before submitting them to the client.
  •    Providing clients with relevant information about the company, solutions provided, pricing structure, production processes, project management, and customer service.
  •    Maintaining close contact with the client whenever an issue arises to ensure proper resolution.


  •    Good oral and written communication skills.
  •    Must be a team player.
  •    Must have excellent work ethics, habits and the ability to maintain confidential information.
  •    Strong organizational, problem-solving, project coordination and client-servicing skills.
  •    Familiarity with Windows applications and web technology.

3. System Administrator-Job Description and Duties

The systems administrator is responsible for supporting the critical systems, applications, and infrastructure of the LanguageLine platforms.  He/she is also responsible for:

  •    Maintaining an appropriate system and network security.
  •    Producing and maintaining a system and network documentation.
  •    Isolating problems and conducting appropriate research and troubleshooting efforts
  •    Providing technical support for Tier 1 and escalated issues.
  •    Monitoring IT Service Delivery tickets and follows up with assigned personnel to ensure timely resolution of problems.
  •    Invoking problem escalation procedures to Tier 3 engineering teams.
  •    Ensuring that daily, weekly and monthly statistics, status reports, and graphical reporting aids are completed and continually modified to meet the needs of the department.
  •    Performing miscellaneous related duties as assigned.


  1.    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or any related field and 2 years of experience as a systems administrator.
  2.    Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory, Windows 7, MS Server 2008 and 2012.
  3.    Experience in LINUX, SQL, and Oracle.
  4.    Experience with inContact on-demand contact center software.
  5.    Experience with Internet/Web-enabled services-background with production high-availability web-enabled transaction platform is required.
  6.    Experience with acquisition integrations and transformations of people, process and technology.


The salary for this position ranges from $43k-$81k.

LanguageLine Solutions Hiring Process

This begins with the application process, which is done online on the company’s website, where you will have to fill out an online application form for the job position of your choice. You will be required to submit a resume, cover letter and provide information about yourself and your academic and work experience.
