The NPF Recruitment Portal

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) is preparing to initiate the recruitment of new police constables into their ranks.

Aspiring candidates for the NPF recruitment exercise in 2023 should be aware that applications will exclusively be accepted through the designated portal.

On the portal www.npf.gov.ng, the Nigerian Police (NPF) explicitly states that recruitment into the agency is conducted transparently and without any application charges.

Hence, if you possess the necessary qualifications, you are eligible to participate in the recruitment exercise.

Requirements for Recruitment

1. Own a National Identification Number (NIN) and be a naturalized citizen of Nigeria.

2. Between the ages of 18 and 25 as of the first day of 2022 and the last day of 2022.

3. Males must be at least 1.67 meters tall and females must be at least 1.64 meters.

4. Possess a full extended chest measurement for men exclusively of no less than 86 cm (34 inches).

5. Be deemed physically and psychologically fit for appointment by a government medical officer.

6. Not having any kind of physical or mental impairment.

7. Not experience any financial shame.

8. Be of good moral character and cannot have been convicted of any crime.

9. To complete the application process, applicants must provide two (2) verified references from the following categories: traditional rulers, magistrates, local government chairpersons, heads of attended educational institutions, career civil servants not below grade level 12, police officers not below the rank of CSP, or military officers not below the rank of lieutenant colonel.

1. Visit www.policerecruitment.gov.ng on your smartphone, laptop, or tablet.

2. Enter your National Identification Number (NIN).

3. Enter a valid E-mail address.

4. Enter your password.

5. Resolve the captcha issue and click create an account.

6. Log in to your E-mail and click on the link sent by the Nigeria Police to your inbox (check your spam box if you don’t find the message in your inbox).

7. Enter your Email and Password and click on the login button.

8. Ensure you fill the police online application form correctly.

9. Submit your application.

10. If your application is successful, you will receive a confirmation message by email within a few minutes.

11. Ensure you print out your confirmation slip. Please save and copy your “Registration Number” for future correspondence. The “Number” is case-sensitive.
