NYSC DG Urges Corps Members To Be Neutral During Edo Polls. Corps members that will be engaged in the conduct of Edo State governorship election later this year have been urged to maintain high level of neutrality in the conduct of their assignment.
The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps Brigadier General Suleman Kazaure made the call while addressing the 2016 Batch ‘A’ Corps members at the NYSC Orientation Camp, Okada, Edo State.
He warned them against interfering in the activities of political groups in the state, adding that they should uphold the trust that would be reposed in them.
Kazaure said the NYSC would, on its part, liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure their safety before, during and after the election.
Earlier, the State Coordinator Mrs. Atineh japhet Akyam said the Corps members were of good behaviour had been participating actively in all camp activities.
