African American Scholarships: 2022 See Current Application Portal Update

Also, this is one of the African American scholarships. The ABA Diversity Scholarship focuses on broadening the number of traditionally underrepresented groups.

➢ Requirement: Applicants must have completed, at a minimum, their first year of college at an accredited university.

Also, this is another scholarship on the top chart of the African American scholarships. The American Association of Blacks in Energy is a professional association. Also, it’s composed of African Americans in the energy industry.

➢ Requirement: Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Also, must be a graduating high school senior. One who intends to enrol in the next semester in an accredited college or university.

Another African American scholarship is the Annie Ibok Scholarship. And it seeks to provide financial aid to underserved students of colour in their undergraduate studies.

Also, this is one of the African American scholarships. This scholarship was created by former Obama White House alum Deesha Dyer. And it includes contributions from more than 55 Black/African-American women. Those who worked in the Obama White House.

➢ Requirement: You need to be a Black/African American woman. Also, you must be a college student. And you must have earned a Washington, D.C. internship that relates to policy, community engagement, community service, advocacy, global relations or politics.

Also, again, this is one of the African American scholarships. Blacks at Microsoft (BAM) is a company-sponsored employee network. Requirement: Applicants must be high-school seniors of African descent. Also, must plan to attend a four-year college or university.
And this should be in the fall of the year following high-school graduation. Also, must plan to pursue a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, computer information systems, or select business programs. And must have a minimum 3.3 GPA. Also must have financial need.
