Offering a stipend of $4,500 per month, the Campbell Fellowships for Transformative Research are awarded through the School of Advanced Research (SAR) for international female Ph.D. scholars who are researching the circumstances of women in global developing nations.

Sponsored by the Leakey Foundation, the Franklin Mosher Baldwin Memorial Fellowship is designed to give $15,000 annually to international students from developing countries who are accepted into an accredited MA or Ph.D. program in the United States.

9. Postgraduate Global Excellence Scholarship

This award will be automatically allocated to outstanding applicants for full-time study, applying for the first time for 2019 entry (deferred offer holders or applicants applying for deferred entry are not eligible). A separate application is not required.

11. Aga Khan Foundation International Scholarships

12. East-West Center Graduate Degree Fellowship

The East-West Center has created the Graduate Degree Fellowship to provide 24 months of full tuition funding to advanced students from Asia and the Pacific, including Russia, who is earning a master’s or Ph.D. degree at the University of Hawaii.

Established in 1954 by aeronautics expert Dr. Theodore von Karman in honor of his late sister, the Josephine de Karman Fellowship Trust provides $22,000 annually to eight graduate students who are pursuing a Ph.D. at an accredited university in the United States.

16. MSCA-ETN-POEM Ph.D. Positions in the EU Horizon for International Students

The European Training Network “Participatory Memory Practices Concepts, strategies, and media infrastructures for envisioning socially inclusive potential futures of European Societies through culture” (POEM) is inviting applications for 13 Ph.D. positions in the EU Horizon 2020 Marie-Sklodowska-Curie Project: MSCA-ETN-POEM.

POEM is a consortium of high profile universities, acknowledged memory institutions, civil society organizations, and SMEs located in Cyprus, Denmark, Germany, Sweden, and the UK.

17. Social Anthropology Research Studentship

The main project has two key aims: 1) to explore how global conservation is being re(con)figured and ‘scaling up’ to meet the challenges and possibilities presented by the so-called ‘Anthropocene’; and 2) to figure out ‘the Anthropocene’ by examining how it is experienced, conceptualized, produced, contested, or refused in multiple ethnographic settings.
