You can study in Australia on fully funded Australian scholarships for International Students. The Government of Australia is offering scholarship awards to students in developing countries to undertake full-time undergraduate or postgraduate study at participating Australian universities and Technical and Further Education (TAFE) institutions.

1. Edith Cowan University Scholarship

The Edith Cowan University offers overseas partner Scholarships to international students with the interest to pursue a  degree program at the institution.

The international scholarship for undergraduates is available at the university and the scholarship offers a 20% reduction in its tuition fees for the time frame of course of study at the ECU for students.

The institution is a public university located in Perth, Western Australia, and was named after the first elected woman elected in the Australian parliament.

The university has two campuses in Mout Lawley and Joondalup. This scholarship is opened for any course treated in the school and should be taken in Australia.

There are a lot of international countries eligible for this scholarship. To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants should be Citizens of the selected.

Applicants have to kick start study at the ECU university. Applicants should not be benefactors. The application deadline for the scholarship is on the 30th of July

2. Bond University

Bond University is happy to invite eligible applicants for its scholarship. This scholarship is aimed at affording bright and best students from around the globe who possess good academic records, leadership, sporting achievements good academics.

Bond University is the Australian first nonprofit university that is aimed at influencing dedicated inspired tomorrow leaders.

The scholarship is opened for all courses at the undergraduate and the postgraduate level. This scholarship is worth a 100% tuition fee for both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees

3. Melbourne International Undergraduate Scholarships

The University of Melbourne offers scholarships to its applicants and this scholarship was established by the University of Melbourne in recognition of the significant contribution made by international students to the diversity of the University’s student population.

Any undergraduate degree is offered at the university and the scholarship is awarded to about 50 students and international students.

The Melbourne scholarship is worth a $10,000 tuition fee remission in the first year of an undergraduate degree and a 50% fee remission for the three-year duration of an undergraduate degree.

Applicants are accepted if they meet the specified criteria which include that as an applicant you to be a citizen of a country other than Australia and New Zealand and not reside permanently in Australia.

Must have received an unconditional offer for an undergraduate course;

Have achieved excellent final year school results, such as:

– at least four A* grades in the GCE A Levels

– at least 97% in an approved Foundation program

– at least a score of 43 in the International Baccalaureate (IB)

not have  previously undertaken any tertiary studies

4. Adelaide Scholarship International (ASI)

The University of Adelaide has made available Adelaide Scholarships International (ASI) to attract high-quality overseas postgraduate students to areas of research strength in the University of Adelaide to support its research effort. The scholarship is opened to master’s degree research.

This scholarship is limited and open to international students. The value of this scholarship is worth tuition fees, annual living allowance ($27,082 in 2018), and overseas student health cover.

Applicants can be eligible for the scholarship if they meet certain criteria which include that for you to be enrolled you have to successfully complete at least the equivalent of an Australian First Class Honours degree (this is a four-year degree with a major research project in the final year).

The scholarship is based on academic merit and research potential as extra-curricular achievements are not considered.

Applicants who have not provided evidence of their meeting the minimum English language proficiency requirements for direct entry by the scholarship closing date.

Or who have completed a Pre-Enrolment English Program to meet the entry requirements for the intended program of study, are not to apply to be enrolled a formal application for Admission and a Scholarship via the online application system must be submitted as the next deadline for the next semester would be on the 15th of February or 30th April.

5. Australian Government Research Training Program (AGRTP) Scholarships

Australian Government Research Training Program (AGRTP) Scholarships

The Australian Government Research Training Program (AGRTP) Scholarship is specifically poised to support international students to undertake a research higher degree at Flinders University. The scholarship is offered to about 10 applicants.

The Australian Government Research Training Program (AGRTP) Scholarship is worth the student tuition fees, a generous living allowance paid at the rate of $27,082 (2017 rate).

As well establishment allowance of up to $1,485 to assist with relocation costs and airfares and is tenable for up to three years for a Research Doctorate degree and two years for a Research Masters degree.

Applicants are eligible to assess this scholarship if they satisfy the University’s academic entry requirements for a Masters’s degree by research or Doctorate by research.

Applicants have to as well meet the English Proficiency test set by Flinders University for international students at the time of application, applicants must not possess Australian Citizenship.

6. International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (IPRS)

The scholarship was replaced by the Research Training Program (RTP) from 1 January 2017.

The RTP offers grants on a calendar year basis, to higher education providers (HEPs) to support both domestic and overseas students undertaking Research Doctorate and Research Masters degrees, known as higher degrees by research (HDRs).

The scholarship is offered to a master’s degree or doctorate degree. The Research Training Program (RTP) scholarship is worth an RTP Fees Offset pays for the tuition fees of a higher degree by research (HDR) student that would have been paid by the student in addition to that, a stipend is also offered to assist students with their living costs while undertaking a higher degree by research.

To apply for this scholarship, an applicant needs to either be a domestic applicant or an international student. The deadline for the scholarship varies, April-Oct (annual)

7. University of Sydney International Research Scholarship (USydIS)

University of Sydney International Research Scholarship (USydIS) is aimed at attracting top quality international postgraduate students to undertake research projects which will enhance the University’s research activities.

The University of Sydney in Australia hosts this scholarship and offers programs in Postgraduate Research Degree or Masters by Research program in all research disciplines.

The scholarship deals with the tuition fees and living allowance for up to three years with a possibility of one semester’s extension for Ph.D. students.

This scholarship is opened to international students commencing full-time enrolment in a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) at this University and as well to students undertaking studies in subject areas identified by the University as within the areas of its current and emerging research strengths.

8. Macquarie University Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship

The Macquarie University Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship offers partial tuition fee scholarship for outstanding and smart students to study for an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at Macquarie University North Ryde campus.

The Macquarie University North Ryde Campus in Australia hosts the scholarship and offers its scholarship to Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programmes in priority areas: Engineering, Environment, Human Science, Media, Linguistics, and Education.

The scholarship is offered to unlimited applicants. The scholarship is worth up to AUD$10,000  and will be applied towards your tuition fee. Eligible students are supposed to be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand.

Applicants have to obtain the University’s academic and English requirements for the course, gain a minimum GPA equivalent of 5.0 out of 7.0 for Postgraduate applications; or a minimum ATAR equivalent of 90 out of 100 for Undergraduate applications. the deadline for the scholarship is on the 14th of June.

9. Australia Awards Scholarships

The scholarship which was previously known as Australian Development Scholarships (ADS), provides opportunities for people from developing countries, especially those countries located in the Indo-Pacific region.

To undertake full-time undergraduate or postgraduate study at participating Australian universities and Technical and Further Education (TAFE) institutions.

The scholarship offers studies in the following programs Undergraduate or Postgraduate Programmes that are related to your country’s priority areas for development which are listed on the participating country profiles.

Its scholarship is not limited, the Australia Awards Scholarships covers full tuition fees, return air travel, establishment allowance, contribution to living expenses (CLE), Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), Introductory Academic Program (IAP), Pre-course English (PCE) fees, etc.

Certain criteria are required which include a minimum of 18 years of age at the time of commencing the Scholarship, applicants should not be married as well be able to meet the admission requirements of the institution at which the award is to be undertaken. Its deadline is on the 30th of April.

10. The Endeavour Postgraduate Leadership Award

The Endeavour Postgraduate Leadership Award offers financial support for international applicants to attain a postgraduate qualification at a Masters or Ph.D.

level either by coursework or research in any field in Australia for up to 2 years for Masters and 4 years for Ph.D.

The scholarship is not specified. Universities or Higher Educations Institutions in Australia is the Host Institution.

The scholarship is worth AU$3,000 per month as a stipend (maximum amount of AU$36,000 per the calendar year paid up to the maximum category duration on a pro-rata basis), an allowance of up to AU$3,000 (with provision to pay up to AU$4,500 under special circumstances).

Applicants must not be undertaking their Leadership Activity in a country where they hold citizenship/dual citizenship or permanent residency to be qualified to apply, applicants should be 18 years and above to apply.
