One $5,000 scholarship to a woman who is at present enrolled or accepted to study full-time in a STEM degree program at an MPOWER Partner University in Maryland.

The student must be 18 years or older, must be female,  must be enrolled or accepted to study full-time in a STEM degree program at one of MPOWER’s partner universities for the remainder of the student’s undergraduate study and for a graduate degree program, must have one of the following immigration statuses:

For study at a U.S. partner college or university: F1 visa status, Green Card holder (permanent resident) status, or DACA recipient status For study at a Canadian partner college or university: permanent resident or Canadian study permit holder All that’s required is a short application and two brief essays!

5. Grand Rapids Trans Foundation Academic Scholarship

This is a scholarship for transgender and non-binary students pursuing post-secondary education within Kent County, MI.

To be eligible, applicants must identify as Trans (including non-binary, two-spirit, third gender, transsexual, and any other non-cisgender identity) and demonstrate financial need. Scholarship funds can be used to pay for any education-related expenses.
