– CAAS International Scholarships –

The Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS) is now accepting applications from suitably qualified students into their CAAS International Scholarships into their undergraduate programmes. It is a fully-funded scholarship for all students.

About CAAS International Scholarships

The Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS) is a national research organization for scientific research, technology transfer and education in agriculture.

There are different levels available for the scholarship programs that you can take into consideration.

The scholarships are The Chinese Government Scholarship (CGS), The Graduate School of CAAS Scholarship (GSCAASS), The Beijing Government Scholarship (BGS), GSCAAS-OWSD fellowship, and other scholarships.

Depending on which scholarship you choose.

Value of the CAAS International Scholarships

1. Tuition fee waiver.

2. Free on-campus Accommodation.

3. Assistantship stipend:

• For Postgraduate students: RMB 3,000 per month.

• For Doctoral students: RMB 3,500 per month.

4. Medical Insurance.

Accommodation cost

1500 RMB/month for a student;

Important Information

You are eligible to apply if you are:

1. Not Chinese citizens

2. In good health and obey Chinese laws and decrees

3. Having a bachelor’s degree and younger than 35 years old (for Master’s programs)

4. Having a Master’s degree and younger than 40 years old (for doctoral programs)

5. Having at least two years of undergraduate studies and younger than 35 years old (for visiting scholar)

6. Having Master’s or higher degree or academic titles of associate professor or higher, and younger than 40 years old (for Senior Visiting Scholar)

7. Required to have English and/or Chinese proficiency
