The Philippines boasts numerous educational institutions and is recognized as one of Asia’s countries with a commendable education system.

Both local and international students can benefit from a wide range of scholarship opportunities available.

With over 2,300 higher education institutions, predominantly private, the Philippines’ academic landscape has strong ties to Roman Catholicism, reflecting its colonial past.

Among the government-funded public institutions, the University of the Philippines receives the highest funding.

Ranked 46th in the first edition of the QS Higher Education System Strength Rankings, the Philippines not only offers breathtaking landscapes but also provides excellent higher education opportunities in English at an affordable cost.

As a result, it attracts more than five thousand international students annually from various parts of the world, with a significant number coming from East Asian countries.
