Google Lime Scholarship, which is fully funded and sponsored by Lime Connect (a non-profit organization) and Google, is presently accepting applications from eligible students.
The Google Lime Scholarship
The Google Lime Scholarship-Canada is a program that offers financial aid to exceptional students with disabilities.
This scholarship program is a collaboration between Lime Connect, a non-profit organization, and Google.
The main goal of the program is to help these students achieve their career aspirations by providing support for their educational pursuits.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Google Lime Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. Applicants must have a consistent record of academic excellence throughout their course of study.
2. Must be enrolled as a full-time student in a recognized university in the USA or Canada, pursuing higher-level studies.
3. Must have a visible or invisible disability, including those with long-term or recurring health issues that significantly affect their daily activities.

4. Must be enrolled in a computer science, computer engineering, or other closely related program.
5. Must demonstrate a passion for leadership and a strong commitment to computer science and technology.
6. Applicants who have previously been awarded the Google Lime Scholarship are not eligible to apply.
7. One cannot apply for this scholarship while still in high school.
Note:
To receive the scholarship funds, the recipient must be a full-time student enrolled in a Canadian university, pursuing a degree in computer science or a related field of study.
Deferring the award is possible but limited to a maximum of one academic year from the original resumption date.
Application Process
Individuals who meet the eligibility criteria and are interested in applying for the Google Lime Scholarship-Canada are advised to join the Lime Network, where they can access the link to the online application system.
Upon accessing the system, applicants will be required to submit the following documents for consideration:
1. Personal details, including contact information.
2. Educational background and qualifications.
3. Relevant work experience and evidence of achievements.
4. Updated resume highlighting the applicant’s skills and experience.
5. Official or unofficial transcripts from current and previous academic institutions.
6. Three essays demonstrating the applicant’s passion and commitment to computer science.
7. A letter of recommendation from an academic or professional referee.
Note: The deadline for submitting the recommendation letter is one week after the application deadline. As part of the application process, applicants are required to provide the names and email addresses of their references.
