Hispanic Scholarship Fund, which is fully funded by the Hispanic Scholarship Fund, is presently accepting applications from eligible students.

The Hispanic Scholarship Fund

Established in 1975, the Hispanic Scholarship Fund was created with the aim of supporting Hispanic-American college students in successfully attaining their educational goals.

These scholarships are awarded based on competitive selection criteria and are open to community college students, as well as those pursuing four-year college and graduate programs, who identify with Hispanic heritage.

The program provides a range of scholarships specifically designed for undergraduate and graduate students.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for an HSF scholarship, applicants must fulfill the following requirements:

1. Hispanic Heritage: Applicants must identify with Hispanic heritage.

2. Citizenship Status: Applicants must be U.S. citizens, permanent legal residents, or DACA recipients.

3. GPA Requirement: For high school students, a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent) is required.

College and graduate students must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent) to be eligible for the scholarship.

4. Full-time Enrollment: Applicants must plan to enroll full-time in an accredited, not-for-profit, public or private, four-year university, or graduate school in the United States for the upcoming 2023-2024 academic year.

5. Financial Aid Application: Applicants must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or relevant state-based financial aid forms, if applicable.
