Katsina State Government Scholarship Scheme, which is fully funded by Katsina State Government, is presently accepting applications from eligible students.
The Katsina State Government Scholarship Scheme
The Katsina State Scholarship Board operates as a government Parastatal within the jurisdiction of Katsina State.
Its primary responsibility entails granting bursaries, special scholarships, full scholarships, and student loans to students, both domestically and internationally.
To fulfill this mission, the board actively seeks funds and scholarships from organizations and individuals within Nigeria and abroad. Subsequently, these resources are allocated to eligible residents of Katsina State.
The Katsina State Scholarship Board provides a range of educational support to indigenous students of Katsina State, including scholarships, bursaries, grants, and student loans.
These resources primarily target vulnerable groups such as Internally Displaced Persons (students), girl children, orphaned students, disabled students, exceptional students, students pursuing courses in science and technology, as well as other disadvantaged students.
Eligible Candidates for Katsina State Scholarship
To be eligible to apply for the Katsina State Scholarship, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:
1. Hold Katsina state indigenous status.
2. Enrolled as undergraduate students in any university in Nigeria.
3. Pursuing ND or HND programs in any polytechnic in Nigeria.
4. Enrolled as NCE students in any College of Education in Nigeria.
5. Katsina State indigenes with intentions to study abroad.

Requirements for Katsina State Scholarship Scheme
To meet the requirements for the scholarship award, the following conditions must be satisfied:
1. Indigeneship of Katsina State is the primary criterion for eligibility.
2. Enrollment in an approved institution is mandatory.
3. Demonstrating good academic performance is necessary.
4. Students in higher institutions such as universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education are expected to maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.0.
5. Successful candidates will undergo a screening process to verify their credentials.
6. Presentation of the First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) is required.
7. Possession of a Certificate of Origin is necessary.
8. Submission of a Statement of Result indicating the CGPA is compulsory for university/polytechnic/college/school of nursing students, and so on.
