KFC Scholarships 2019 – Applications are invited for KFC Scholarship 2019. This scholarship opportunity is open for USA high school seniors. KFC Scholarships worth is $20,000. 

KFC Scholarships

Apply for the 2019 KFC Scholarship, now modified by KFC in 2013 to primarily focus on helping their employees and managers pursue college through the REACH-KFC Educational Grant Program.

The Kentucky Fried Chicken Scholarship for college was for high school seniors planning to attend college in their home state. College bound seniors could win up to $20,000 over 4 years in this scholarship program.

Scholarship Level/Field

The scholarship is available for high school senior, high school graduate (or equivalent) or college undergraduate, graduate, or trade/vocational school student (students of any age may apply) who are employees of KFC US and wish to further his college education.

The scholarship is no longer offered to new applicants for future graduating seniors, although KFC continues to support past winners for the 4-year scholarship. Past winners are still being eligible to receive grants of $20,000 and renew their scholarship for 4 years.

Interested employees should contact your employer for more information about the REACH KFC Educational Grant Program for college.

KFC Restaurant General Managers, Assistant Managers, Shift Supervisors, and Team Members may apply for the college tuition assistance funds. Selected Managers will receive $3,000 for the academic year; the previous REACH Grant recipients receive $2,500 and first-time winners receive $2,000.

Selected employee students who win in the spring round, are not eligible to apply again during the fall round. Employee students may apply to receive funds every calendar year.

Eligibility for Scholarship

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the KFC Scholarships;

No mandatory essay. No citizenship or income information is collected. There is no waiting period. But applicants for the REACH Educational Grant must:

  • Be a KFC U.S. Restaurant employee (Restaurant General Managers, Assistant Managers, Shift Supervisors, and Team Members may apply)
  • Be a high school senior, high school graduate (or equivalent) or college undergraduate, graduate, or trade/vocational school student (students of any age may apply)
  • Have a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale
  • Be employed at a KFC U.S. restaurant that is participating in the KFC Foundation’s 2018 Cole Slaw Donation Program (All KFC Company Restaurants are in the program-not all franchisee-owned restaurants participate)
  • Enroll either full-time or part-time in the 2019 spring term and earn a minimum of 12 credit hours during the 2018-19 academic year at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or trade/vocational school
  • Be employed at a participating KFC restaurant at the time that REACH Grant recipients are announced in late November 2019.

Scholarship Application Procedures

KFC Scholarships

The application process for KFC Scholarship, 2019 is done through the scholarship website or mobile App. The procedures are as follows;

  • Click the “Apply Now” button (below) or go to key KFCREACH) to create an AIM account using your e-mail address and chosen password.
  • Log in to your AIM account to be taken directly to the Welcome page of the KFC Foundation’s REACH Educational Grant application.
  • Complete all required fields in the online application and upload any required documents (such as GED certificate, high school transcript, college transcript and/or ACT/SAT scores).
  • Click the Submit button on the Save/Submit page of the online application.
  • The status Complete will display on your AIM Home page when all forms have been submitted and all documents have been verified.
  • Applicants are responsible for monitoring the progress of all application requirements to make sure their application is complete by 11:59 pm PT on September 27.
  • Late submissions will not be considered.
