The Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship
The University of Toronto’s Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship Program aims to acknowledge outstanding international students who exhibit remarkable academic excellence and creativity, and are regarded as leaders within their respective schools.
Emphasis is placed on evaluating the student’s influence on their school and community, as well as their potential to make positive contributions to the global community in the future.
Benefits of Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship
The scholarship program offers the following benefits to the selected recipients:
1. Complete coverage of tuition fees for a duration of four years.
2. Provision of a book allowance.
3. Full coverage of incidental costs.
4. The host organization will fully cover the accommodation expenses.

Eligibility Criteria of Lester B. Pearson Scholarship
Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
1. The scholarship program is open to all international students.
2. Canadian nationals are not eligible to apply.
3. International students who have completed their high school education in Canada are also eligible to apply.
4. The applicant must be nominated by their school or college.
5. The applicant should currently be in the final year of secondary school.
6. If the applicant has already graduated from high school, the graduation should not have taken place before June 2023.
7. The applicants must have submitted an application to study at the University of Toronto.
8. The applicants should not have commenced their post-secondary studies at any institution.
9. The applicant must be seeking their first undergraduate degree.
