LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship, which is fully funded and sponsored by LIC corporation, is presently accepting applications from eligible students.
The LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship
The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has introduced the LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship program, aimed at inspiring economically disadvantaged female students to pursue technical and vocational courses at the undergraduate level.
To be eligible for the scholarship, the students must be enrolled in an educational institution affiliated with the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).
The scholarship, in the form of life insurance coverage, will assist financially struggling families by providing Rs 20,000/- distributed evenly over three installments.
Female students are eligible to apply for the scholarship program.
Benefits Of Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme
The LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship program offers several benefits to eligible students, including:
1. Female students who register for the LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship will have the opportunity to secure their future.

3. Students in grades 10-12 have an excellent opportunity to receive financial assistance through the scholarship.
4. Successful scholarship applicants will receive an amount of Rs. 20,000, distributed in installments.

8. Students pursuing vocational and industrial training from recognized universities are also eligible to apply for the Golden Jubilee Scholarship.
9. Students who have secured at least 60% marks in their qualifying examination are eligible for selection.
10. Interested applicants must apply for the scholarship program online before the specified deadline.

Amount of LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2023
The candidates who are selected for the scholarship program will receive INR 20,000 per year, distributed over three installments for regular scholars.
Selected special girl child scholars will be awarded INR 10,000 per year, which will also be paid in three installments.
Eligibility Criteria
The following points outline the essential eligibility criteria established by the Life Insurance Corporation of India for students seeking to qualify for the Golden Jubilee scholarship scheme in 2023.
For Regular Scholar
Applicants who have achieved a minimum of 60% marks in their 2022-23 class 12 examinations (or an equivalent qualification in Regular/Vocational/Diploma streams) may apply for the LIC Jubilee Scholarship, as long as their family’s yearly income does not exceed INR 2,50,000.
Similarly, individuals who have scored at least 60% marks in their class 10 exams in the 2022-23 session or an equivalent qualification and whose family’s annual income does not surpass INR 2.5 lakhs are also eligible to apply.
For Special Girl Child Scholar
LIC has introduced a specific provision for girl child scholars to promote their education.
Girls who have cleared their class 10 exams and intend to pursue higher studies in the +2 pattern can apply for the LIC Scholarship 2023.
They may also apply for the LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme provided their family’s annual income does not exceed INR 2.5 lakhs and their educational pursuit does not exceed two years.
