1. Australia Awards Scholarships

Deadline: April 30th

Australia Awards Scholarships, formerly known as Australian Development Scholarships (ADS), provide opportunities for people from developing countries, particularly those countries located in the Indo-Pacific region, to undertake full-time postgraduate study at participating Australian universities and Technical and Further Education (TAFE) institutions.

The scholarship benefits generally include full tuition fees, return air travel, establishment allowance, contribution to living expenses (CLE), Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), Introductory Academic Program (IAP), Pre-course English (PCE) fees, etc. See the complete list of benefits at the official website.

2. Endeavour Postgraduate Leadership Award

The Endeavour Postgraduate Leadership Award provides financial support for international applicants to undertake a postgraduate qualification at a Masters or Ph.D. level either by coursework or research in any field in Australia for up to 2 years for Masters and 4 years for Ph.D.

International Endeavour leaders undertaking postgraduate qualifications (Masters or Ph.D.) are eligible to receive tuition fees of up to AU$30,000 per the calendar year, paid up to the maximum study/research duration on a pro-rata basis. Tuition includes student service and amenities fees. The duration of the scholarship is up to 2 years for a Masters and up to 4 years for a Ph.D.

3. Australia Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarships

The RTP provides block grants, on a calendar year basis, to higher education providers (HEPs) to support both domestic and overseas students undertaking Research Doctorate and Research Masters degrees, known as higher degrees by research (HDRs).

Under RTP, a University provides one or more of the following types of support to an RTP Scholarship recipient:

  • Tuition fees of a higher degree by research (HDR) student that would otherwise have been paid by the student.
  • Stipend to assist students with their living costs while undertaking a higher degree by research.
  • Allowances to assist students with ancillary costs of a higher degree by research (HDR). This includes relocation costs to undertake an HDR.

4. Australian Government Research Training Program (AGRTP) International Scholarships at University of Flinders

Deadline: August 13th

The Australian Government Research Training Program (AGRTP) Scholarships (International) are specifically intended to support international students to undertake a research higher degree at Flinders University.

The scholarship covers the international student tuition fees, a generous living allowance paid at the rate of $27,082, and an establishment allowance of up to $1,485 to assist with relocation costs and airfares.
