2. Applying to HEC with Supervisor Support/Acceptance letter.
If you are applying without a support letter, start your process from step 2.
If you want to apply with a support letter start it from step 1.

Remember, if you have supervisor/coordinator/director support letter, it will increase your chance of getting admitted (at the intended university) and scholarship (HEC-Pak).

Step 1

List of universities pdf: Click here

List of 4 universities with HEC agreement: Click Here
(Your academic credentials are equal or higher than your intended program requirements).

B. Email the supervisor, you like to be in his/her Lab, and request the supervisor for a support letter or willingness letter or pre-admission letter.

You will submit an application to HEC a minimum of two months before the university deadline; therefore, the best strategy will be is to contact the supervisor very early (5-12 months before the university deadline), and you should have a supervisor letter during application submission to HEC.

If you don’t have GRE or TOEFL/IELTS currently, it is okay. You can appear for the required test after pre-screening.

Some programs do not require GRE (list of programs Click Here ), in this case, request the program supervisor/director/coordinator for mentioning it in the support letter or issuing a separate letter for justifying that GRE is not mandatory for this program.

Step 2

A. Apply to HEC Pakistan through the student online portal from your profile, Click Here with or without a support letter from the university.
