Scholarship Description

- Scholarship Award: Based in the College of Health and Life Sciences and funded by Brunel University London, the studentship offers an annual London rate stipend of £16,777 plus Home/EU tuition fees, for a maximum of 36 months. Preferred start date is 1st January 2019.

Scholarship Eligibility:

Entrance Requirements: Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Candidates should have an undergraduate degree (first or upper second class) or equivalent qualification in Sociology, Sport Sciences, Leisure Studies or a related Life or Social Science discipline. A Masters qualification in a relevant area would be desirable. Experience in conducting qualitative data collection and analysis is essential. Applicants who have not been awarded a degree by a University in the UK will be expected to demonstrate English language skills to IELTS 7.0 (minimum 6.0 in any section).
English Language Requirements: Applicants whose first language is not English are usually required to provide evidence of proficiency in English at the higher level required by the University.
