Gonda PhD Student Grant Program: Applications are currently been accepted for the Gonda PhD Student Grant Program. This program is only open to the Netherlands students who want to undertake PhD programme at Royal Dutch Academy of Sciences.
The Foundation’s assets comprise the estate of Indologist Jan Gonda, who was a member of the Academy.
Award Value: A Gonda PhD student grant is usually between €3000 and € 10,000. The grant cannot be used to cover salaries.
Level and Area of Studies: PhD program in the fields of Sanskrit, other Indian languages and literature, and Indian cultural history.
Place of Study: At the Royal Dutch Academy of Sciences in the Netherlands.
Applicants’ Nationality: Only students from the Netherlands may apply this program.
Application Instruction: The application comprises an application form that e-mail must submit to the Board of the Gonda Foundation.
Eligibility and Criteria
