NNPC/Belemaoil JV Scholarship

Belemaoil Producing Limited in collaboration with NNPC which is fully committed to the education of our Host Communities, hereby wishes to inform the general public of its annual scholarship program.

NNPC/Belemaoil JV Scholarship Eligibility

The scheme is for suitably qualified applicants from Belemaoil Host Communities. Categories for the scholarship scheme are; Post- Primary, Undergraduate, and Post-graduate.

For Post-Primary

1. Applicants must be from the Belemaoil Host Communities as listed in “Belemaoil Business Corridors” below.

2. Applicants must submit a Local Government Identification Letter.

3. Applicants must have secured admission into a Public and government-recognized secondary school in the Country.

4. Applicants must submit a Reference Letter from the Principal of the school along with at least JSS 1 first term result.

5. Applicant Must Not be an employee or child/dependent of any employee of Belemaoil Producing Ltd.

6. Applicant Must Not be a current beneficiary in any of Belemaoil Empowerment Schemes.

For Undergraduate

1. Applicants must be from one of Belemaoil Host Communities as listed in the “Belemaoil Business Corridors” below.

2. Applicants must submit a Local Government Identification Letter.

3. Applicants must have secured admission into a recognized University within Nigeria with proof of the following documents (Admission Letter, Acceptance letter, year’s academic result, Academic reference letter from an appropriate authority not lower than the Dean of Student’s Affairs)

4. Applicant Must Not be an employee or child/dependent of any employee of Belemaoil Producing Ltd.

5. Applicant Must Not be a current beneficiary in any of Belemaoil Empowerment Schemes.

6. Guarantor’s written consent of good conduct of the applicant from any of the following persons from the applicant’s community/clan:

  • Paramount Head of Host Community
  • Current CDC Chairperson.
  • Persons involved in cult/criminal gang membership or with a criminal record shall not be considered for the award.

For Post-Graduate

1. Applicants must be from the Belemaoil Host Communities as listed in the “Belemaoil Business Corridors” below.

2. Applicants must submit a Local Government Identification Letter.

3. Applicants must have a first degree with a minimum of 2nd Class Lower Division for those wishing to undertake a Master’s Degree program and a good Master’s Degree for PhD candidates from a recognized University (with documents for proof).

4. Applicants must have secured admission into a recognized University within Nigeria with proof of the following documents (Post Graduate Admission Letter, Acceptance letter, Academic reference letter from an appropriate authority not lower than the Dean of Graduate Affairs).

5. Guarantor’s written consent of good conduct from any of the following persons from the applicant’s community/clan.

6. Applicants must possess an NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate.

How to Apply

Interested and qualified candidates should submit their Applications through their Host Community CDC Chairman or Submit them at the Security Post of Belemaoil Producing Limited Corporate Headquarters.

Application Deadline

Unfortunately, this scholarship has closed for 2024, however, if you keep in touch, we will let you know when it reopens.
