UBA Campus Ambassador Programme

Through campus brand representation, the UBA Campus Ambassador program gives students at Nigerian and African postsecondary institutions a special chance to be a part of a progressive and innovative Pan-African bank.

The program is a part of the bank’s effort to help young people in Africa develop their leadership and creative skills.

For a chosen group of kids, the program is meant to be both an educational and highly fulfilling endeavor, giving them a stage on which to develop their leadership skills and demonstrate their range of abilities.

UBA Campus Ambassador Programme Eligibility

1. Must be a registered, full-time undergraduate student of any tertiary institution in Nigeria and African countries where UBA operates

2. Must be actively involved with student groups and influential within the campus community

3. Must have established social media presence with demonstrable followership

4. Should possess experience in engaging stakeholders within the school community

5. Should have the ability to gather feedback and provide innovative insights

6. Should be able to dedicate 3-4 hours weekly

7. Must be highly professional in general conduct

8. Should have a UBA account

Responsibilities of UBA Campus Ambassador

1. Represent the UBA brand on campus

2. Provide insights that will help UBA better understand campus requirements unique to each region

3. Learn about UBA products/ services and promote their adoption within the campus

4. Plan and host fun events on campus to amplify the UBA brand

5. Build relationships on campus with the school authorities, faculty, and student groups

6. Identify trends and opportunities that UBA can leverage within the campus community

7. Implement various UBA initiatives within the campus

How to Apply

Qualified students are expected to complete an online form with required personal data, and a motivation letter highlighting why they should be selected. Applications open between September and Mid-December yearly.

2. Create a short video describing how your skills and experiences are relevant to the role

3. Upload the video on your social media page with the hashtag #UBACampusAmbassador

4. Be sure to tag or mention @UBAGroup in your post. Candidates with high engagement stand a chance to be fast-tracked into the application process
