COVID-19: Abia State University (ABSU) Transits to Virtual Learning.

ABSU Virtual Learning: Abia State University (ABSU) has transitioned to a virtual learning approach to ensure academic activities are not disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic affecting the whole world. Continue reading to see more details below.

This is to inform the Staff and Students of the University that the University Management, under the able and dynamic leadership of the Vice-Chancellor, Distinguished Professor Professor E. Uche Ikonne, has graciously approved an improved e-learning Management System in her efforts to engage the students while at home.

The e-learning system is now linked to Zoom inc for a more convenient online lectures and revision. Lecturers can also post and assess the assignments online.

With this , lecturers can take a quality video, audio and a wireless screen-sharing performance across Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android, Blackberry, Zoom Rooms systems.

Students are however advised to download Zoom Application.
