JABU Admission Screening Form 2017… Joseph Ayo Babalola University, JABU admission screening forms for UTME and Direct Entry candidates for the 2017/2018 academic session are now on sale. See more details below;

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU) various undergraduate programmes for the 2017/2018 academic session. Both UTME and Direct Entry candidates are welcome to apply.

JABU Admission Requirements.

Candidates wishing to apply for admission into the University must possess GCE, O/L, SSCE (WAEC), NECO, NABTEB or equivalent with minimum credit passes in five subjects including English Language and Mathematics at one or two sittings. Interested candidates who have already applied to JAMB for admission and wish to change their first choice University to Joseph Ayo Babalola University are required to:

  1. Apply for change of institution through JAMB;
  2. Obtain Joseph Ayo Babalola university Application Form;
  3. Participate in the screening exercise.

“Awaiting result” candidates can also apply provided their results will be available by September of the year in which admission is required. Specific College/Departmental requirements are as indicated below.

Admission Requirements – Direct Entry Candidates.

  1. 5 relevant credit passes at WASC (SSCE), NECO or equivalent subjects listed under each programme, two of which must be at ‘A’ Level.
  2. OND with upper Credit or NCE at Credit level in any institution recognized by the University.
  3. Joseph Ayo Babalola University Diploma.
  4. Diploma from any other recognized Universities.

JABU Available Undergraduate Programmes and Requirements.

1.  COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES

  1. B. Agric. With option in:
    • Agricultural Economics and Extension Services
    • Animal Science and Production
  2. B.Sc. Food Science and Technology

College Admission Requirements:

Five ‘O’ Level credit passes at SSCE,NECO or equivalent to include English Language, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology/Agricultural Science and Economics. A pass in Physics is acceptable.

2. COLLEGE OF ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES

  1. B.Arc. Architecture
  2. B.Sc. Estate Management

College Admission Requirements:

  1. For Architecture, Estate Management: 5 credit passes at SSCE, NECO or equivalent in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any one of the following: Geography, Fine Art, Economics, Technical Drawing, Building Construction, Biology and Agric Science.

3. COLLEGE OF HUMANITIES

  1. B.A English
  2. B.A History and international Studies
  3. B.A Religious Studies

College Admission Requirements:

  1. Five ‘O’ Level credit passes at SSCE, NECO or equivalent in English Language and four other Arts and Social Science subjects.
  2. For B.A. English, the other four subjects must include literature in English.
  3. For B.A. History and international Studies, the four subjects must include Government or History.

4. COLLEGE OF NATURAL SCIENCES

  1. B.Sc. Biochemistry
  2. B.Sc.Computer Science
  3. B.Sc.Microbiology
  4. B.Sc. Industrial Chemistry

College Admission Requirements:

  1. For B. Sc. Biochemistry, five ‘O’ Level credit passes at SSCE or equivalent, including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics.
  2. For B.Sc. Microbiology, Agricultural Science is acceptable in lieu of Biology.
  3. For B.Sc. Computer Science: five ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any of Chemistry, Biology, Economics and Geography.

5. COLLEGE OF SOCIAL SCIENCES

  1. B.Sc.Economics
  2. B.Sc. Mass Communication
  3. B.Sc. International Relations
  4. B.Sc.. Political Science

College Admission Requirements:

  1. For B.Sc. Economics: candidates must possess 5 ‘O’ Level credit in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two Arts or Social Science subjects.
  2. For B.Sc. Political Science and International Relations: 5 ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Government/History and any other 3 subjects at least, a pass in Mathematics is required.
  3. For B.Sc. Mass Communication, the 5 ‘O’ Level credit passes must include English Language and Literature in English. At least, a pass in Mathematics is required.

6. COLLEGE OF MANAGEMENT SCIENCES

  1. B.Sc. Accounting
  2. B.Sc. Business Administration
  3. B.Sc. Entrepreneurship
  4. B.Sc. Industrial Relation and Human Resources Management
  5. B.Sc. Insurance

College Admission Requirements:

  1. For B.Sc. Business Administration, insurance, Entrepreneurship and Accounting candidates must possess 5 ‘O’ Level credit in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two Arts or Social Science subjects.
  2. For B.Sc. Industrial Relation and Human Resources Management, 5 ‘O’ Level credit passes must include Mathematics and English Language.

7. COLLEGE OF LAW

  1. i)           Bachelor of Law (LL.B) Hons
