1. Bachelor in Commerce:

2. Masters of Management In Analytics:
The McGill Masters of Management in Analytics (MMA) degree is a pre-experience, twelve-month specialized program in the evolving field of management analytics.
The MMA program is designed to address the growing needs of organizations (for-profit, non-profit, governmental) for business analytics.
The emphasis of the program will be on a managerial problem solving using state-of-the-art data analytics tools to optimize organizational decisions in a variety of managerial settings.
Programme Application Process
The MMA is designed for recent graduates with a Bachelor of Arts, Commerce, Economics, Engineering, or Science degree and with proven quantitative skills. There are two complementary sets of clientele for the program:
- Students with an undergraduate degree in a related discipline (such as engineering, computer science, statistics), who have the technical skills and are interested in learning the business or the management dimension of the analytics field.
- Students with an undergraduate degree in any discipline with a strong interest in the emerging field of analytics and some computer acumen.
Prospective students can apply during the final year of their bachelor’s degree studies. Admission would be conditional upon obtaining their bachelor’s degree prior to the start of the program.
Students with a three-year bachelor’s degree from an international university are also eligible to apply.
Applications for Summer 2019 open on September 15, 2018. There are 4 deadlines for admission to the Master of Management in Analytics (MMA) program:
- 1st deadline -October 31, 2018
- 2nd deadline -January 15, 2019
- 3rd deadline -February 15, 2019 (Final deadline for international students)
- 4th deadline – May 15, 2019(Final deadline for Canadian citizens and permanent residents)

3. Ph.D. Program in Management
The Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill, renowned worldwide for cutting edge research, offers a Ph.D. Program in Management where outstanding students conduct fundamental research at the frontiers of management knowledge and practice.
With the collaboration of faculty and industry leaders, the program prepares students to become autonomous researchers, whose teaching, publications and consulting activities contribute to leading universities and organizations around the world.
The Desautels Ph.D. program participates in a joint doctoral program that brings together the four leading Montreal universities (HEC-Montreal, Concordia, UQAM, and McGill).
Areas of specialization
Before entering the Ph.D. Program in Management at Desautels, students must select an area of specialization from one of the following or from a combination thereof:
- Information Systems
- Operations Management
- Organizational Behaviour
- Retail Management
- Strategy & Organization
Applicants are assessed according to their past academic record, evaluations by former professors or supervisors, performance on standard graduate examinations, relevant work experience and the fit between their interests and the Faculty’s focus and objectives.
The McGill Doctoral Committee reviews all completed applications and makes the final admission recommendations to the Joint Doctoral Committee and to the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research for final approval.
Candidates typically hold a Masters-level degree, with a strong academic record from a recognized university. The Ph.D. in Management is a full-time program only.
Completed applications and all supporting documents are to be uploaded by no later than January 15th for Fall (September) admission of the same calendar year in which admission is sought. This deadline is for all applicants (Canada and International). There is no January (Winter) or June-July (Summer) admission.
Ph.D. in Management Tuition Fee
If you are an international student, the Ph.D. The program will pay the international portion of your university tuition fees for the four semesters of minimum residency (or up to a maximum of six semesters), worth approximately $12,640 CAD per year (based on 2018/2019 tuition fees and subject to change).
Students are responsible for the Quebec rate of the tuition fees, which is approximately $4,000 CAD per year (based on 2018/2019 tuition fees and subject to change).
