UNICAL Academic Calendar – After about ten months of school closure, University of Calabar is set to resume! The revised academic calendar for UNICAL first and second semester, 2019/2020 academic session is now available on our site. Read on to see below.

This is to inform all the students of the University of Calabar (UNICAL) that the management of the institution has released the revised academic calendar for the first and second semester, 2019/2020 academic session.

First Semester Academic Calendar

  • FEBRUARY 2021
    1. Friday 5th – Students Arrive Campus
    2. Monday 8th – Lectures Resume for all students
    3. Wednesday 17th – INAUGURAL LECTURE
    4. Friday 26th – Lectures end for all students
  • MARCH 2021
    1. Monday 1st – Exams Begin for Pre-degree and Final Year Students
    2. Saturday 6th – Exams End for Pre-degree and Final Year Students
    3. Monday 8th – Exams Begin for GSS Courses
    4. Saturday 13th – Exams End for GSS Courses
    5. Monday 15th – First Semester Exams Begin for all except CES Students
    6. Wednesday 17th – INAUGURAL LECTURE
    7. Saturday 20th – First Semester Exams End for all except CES Students
    8. Monday 22nd – Exams Begin for CES Students
    9. Friday 26th – Exams End for CES Students
    10. Friday 26th – End of First Semester and all Students Depart

Second Semester Academic Calendar

  • APRIL 2021
    1. Friday 16th – Students Arrive Campus
    2. Monday 19th – Payment of School Charges/Registration for all students
    3. Monday 19th – Lectures Begin for all students
    4. Friday 23rd – End of Registration for all students
    5. Monday 26th – Late Registration Begins for all students
    6. Wednesday 28th – INAUGURAL LECTURE
  • MAY 2021
    1. Wednesday 26th – INAUGURAL LECTURE
    2. Monday 31st – Students’ Week Begins
  • JUNE 2021
    1. Friday 4th – Students’ Week Ends
    2. Wednesday 23rd – INAUGURAL LECTURE
  • JULY 2021
    1. Wednesday 14th – INAUGURAL LECTURE
    2. Friday 16th – Lectures End
    3. Monday 26th – Exams Begin for Pre-degree Students

    5. Thursday 29th – Exams Begin for all GSS Courses
