University of Ghana Business School – The office is essentially responsible for implementing UGBS’s Internationalization Agenda; we seek to accomplish this goal through developing and managing international partnerships and collaborations with Business Schools and Institutions abroad.

The office was set up in October 2014 with the following mandate:
- Responsible for managing all scheduled visits from our international partner institutions and associations and student exchange programmes.
- Improving on the international image of UGBS by identifying and maintaining contacts from across the globe regarding opportunities for international partnerships.
- Collaborate with institutions in different parts of the world to identify and develop opportunities for partnership and cooperation
- Work with various departments of UGBS in developing their individual international partnerships.
About the School
The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) is a premier business school in the sub-region focused on developing world-class human resources and capabilities to meet national development needs and global challenges, through quality teaching, learning, research and knowledge dissemination.
UGBS is a member of reputable international networks of business schools such as AACSB – The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (www.aacsb.edu/about), GNAM – Global Network for Advanced Management (http://advancedmanagement.net/) and AABS – Association of African Business Schools (http://www.aabschools.com/).
The School has collaborations with leading business schools in North America, Europe, Asia and Africa in the areas of student/faculty exchanges, academic programme, case studies, and research development.
The School offers various undergraduate, masters and PhD programmes in its six academic departments – Department of Accounting, Department of Finance, Department of Marketing & Entrepreneurship, Department of Operations and Management Information Systems (OMIS), Department of Organisation and Human Resource Management (OHRM), and Department of Public Administration and Health Services Management (PAHSM).
Some of the masters programmes including EMBA, MBA, MSc Development Finance,MSc Information Systems,and MA Marketing Strategy are also run in a flexible mode (evenings, weekends and sandwich) to enable students pursue graduate studies whiles working.
The School’s executive education outfit, UGBS-Executive Development(UGBS-ED),offers executive education and tailored programmes to executives and senior management across various sectors while its Enterprise Development Service (EDS) specializes in providing business development, business advisory, and consulting to a wide range of enterprises.
UGBS has qualified and experienced faculty who are committed to carrying out research that is relevant for policy, covering a variety of areas including, finance, banking, insurance, accounting, marketing, entrepreneurship, information systems, operations management, human resource management, health services management, and public administration.

University of Ghana online application E-VOUCHERS can be obtained by Ghanaian applicants for GH¢200.00 at the following banks: Ecobank, Republic Bank, Agricultural Development Bank, Ghana Commercial Bank, Zenith Bank, Universal Merchant Bank, Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG), Prudential Bank and Fidelity Bank. Ghanaian applicants in the following categories are expected to apply using the E-VOUCHER:
– WASSSCE/SSSCE Applicants and Ghanaians with Foreign Background
WASSCE/SSSCE applicants and Ghanaians who apply with foreign qualifications from schools which write the International Baccalaureate (IB) and the IGCSE such as Alpha Beta, Faith Montessori International School, Ghana International School, New Nation International School, SOS – Hermann GMEINER International College and Tema International School etc., should do the following:
At any of the Banks listed above, applicants will be required to indicate their names, mobile phone numbers and e-mail addresses on the bank voucher before they are served. Those without e-mail addresses will however not be disadvantaged.
A confirmation of their Pin will be sent to their mobile phones. After purchasing the e-voucher, applicants should CAREFULLY follow the instructions given.
After the application has been submitted on-line, the Pin should be kept in a safe place as they may be required by applicants when assessing their admission status at a later date.
– Diploma / HND to Degree Applicants
After buying the e-voucher, Diploma/HND to Degree applicants are expected to scan and attach the following documents to their online application forms:
- Diploma/HND transcripts
- Where applicable, certified copies of ‘O’ and ‘A’ Level certificates/result slips
The pay-in-slips together with applicants’ certificates/result slips should be scanned and attached to the application form before submission online. The certificates/results slips should be scanned into one PDF or WORD document and attached to the application form.
2. International Students and Ghanaians Applying From Abroad
Online Application for International Undergraduate applicants
All applicants are expected to pay to the University a non-refundable application processing fee of US$110.00.This fee can be paid directly or wire transferred into the University of Ghana ECOBANK Account.

Note that no application will be processed without proof of payment of the fee.
