Description/History of an iPhone

The iPhone is a smartphone developed by Apple. The first iPhone was released in June, 2007 and an updated version has been released roughly every year since then.

While the iPhone was originally only available to AT&T customers, the iPhone 4 was released on the Verizon network in February, 2010.

The iPhone has a sleek, minimalist design, and differs from other smartphones in its lack of buttons.

Most operations on the iPhone are performed using the touch screen display. The only physical buttons include a sleep/wake button, a mute switch, volume up/down buttons, and a home button.

All versions of the iPhone have a rear-facing camera, but the iPhone 4 introduced a front-facing camera, which can be used for video calls made using the FaceTime feature.

The iPhone 4 also included the first 960 x 640 pixel “retina display,” which has double the resolution of previous iPhone displays.

The iPhone 5 and 5s had the same screen resolution as the iPhone 4. The iPhone 6, released in September 2014, provided a larger 4.7″ display with 1334×750 pixels.

The iPhone 6 Plus, released at the same time, came with an even larger 5.5-inch 1920×1080 pixel display. The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus have the same screen sizes as the 6 and 6 Plus.

Internally, the iPhone runs the iOS, an operating system developed by Apple for portable devices.

This allows the iPhone to run “apps,” or applications developed specifically for the iPhone.

Apps can be downloaded from Apple’s App Store, which can be accessed through iTunes or directly from the iPhone’s built-in App Store app.

There are hundreds of thousands of apps available from the App Store, which provide the iPhone with limitless functionality.

About Latest iPhone Description

iPhone X is the 10th anniversary Apple iPhone product,; it’s called the iPhone X (pronounced “iPhone Ten”).

The Cupertino, California-based companies made it official at an event on the Apple Campus in the Steve Jobs Theater — and in our iPhone X review; we call it “the best iPhone ever.”

Indeed, Apple CEO Tim Cook called the new iPhone X “the biggest leap forward since the original iPhone,” and it’s easy to see why.

The OLED display — an iPhone first — is called the Super Retina Display and measures 5.8 inches, with a resolution of 2,436 × 1,125 pixels.

It features Dolby Vision and HDR10 for stunning high-contrast video playback, as well as TrueTone dynamic white-balance adjustment, a feature of the 10.5-inch iPad Pro and the new iPhone 8 models.

The screen takes up the whole screen and there’s no home button — you unlock your phone with your face. Oh, and it’s water- and dust-resistant, and capable of charging wirelessly.

The iPhone X was completely redesigned from top to bottom for the iPhone’s 10th anniversary.

Featuring a glass over aluminum body, the iPhone X does away with home button altogether and introduces all new gestures, as well as Face ID for authentication.

The display is a first for the iPhone as well: The iPhone X features a bezel-less 5.8-inch OLED display with a top notch for the camera.

General Description of an Apple Laptop

“MacBook” is a term used for a brand of Mac notebook computers that Apple started producing in 2006.

The American multinational corporation created MacBook computers when it consolidated its PowerBook and iBook lines during its transition to Intel processor-based products. As of 2013, there are two types of MacBook computers: the base-level MacBook Air and the upper-level MacBook Pro.

– Physical Characteristics

The MacBook is carved out of solid aluminum, thus giving it a distinctive look and a grayish-white hue. The MacBook Air in particular has a thin and light design.

There are two versions of the MacBook Air: the 11-inch, with an 11.6-inch screen; and the 13-inch, with a 13.3-inch screen.

Apple splits the MacBook Pro into a 13-inch and a 15-inch, with the latter consisting of a 15.4-inch screen. Each computer has a full-size, backlit 78-key keyboard.

– Operating Specifications

Apple bundles each MacBook with the OS X operating system. On each computer there’s a dual-core processor from Intel’s Intel Core brand, with Turbo Boost technology for increased performance.

Each MacBook Air gets a mid-range Intel Core i5, with a processing speed of 1.7 or 1.8 GHz. The 13-inch MacBook Pro has a 2.5- or 2.9-GHz chip, while the one on the 15-inch MacBook Pro is a more powerful but slower 2.3 GHz quad-core Intel Core i7.

Peak installed memory on the MacBook Air is 8GB, with 1600MHz DDR3 architecture.

– Media and Communication

The built-in Intel HD Graphics 4000 handles basic video duties, with the 15-inch MacBook Pro getting a more advanced NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M.

Audio specifications include stereo speakers and a headphone port, with one omnidirectional microphone on the MacBook Air and two on the MacBook Pro.

Wireless technology on the MacBook consists of Bluetooth 4.0 wireless technology for streaming audio and a Wi-Fi network adapter that enables Web browsing.

Also included is a FaceTime Camera with a peak resolution of 720 pixels. For storage, the MacBook Air has a 64- or 128-GB flash drive, while the MacBook Pro has 500 or 750GB of hard drive space.

Added on the MacBook Pro is an 8x Super Drive slot for playing CDs and DVDs.

– Interfaces

Apart from the aforementioned headphone jack, each MacBook has at least one port for the power adapter, two USB 3.0 ports and Apple/Intel’s Thunderbolt interface.

A Secure Digital flash memory card slot is present on all models but the 11-inch MacBook Air. Exclusive to the MacBook Pro are an Ethernet port for wired internet connection, FireWire 800 port for data transfer and an anti-theft device called Kensington Security Slot.

The 15-inch MacBook Pro is the only model with audio line-in and audio line-out jacks for recording purposes.

– Display and Power

Each MacBook Pro has a high-resolution, LED-backlit glossy widescreen display. The maximum native resolution on the MacBook is 1,440 by 900 pixels.

However, Apple provides a Retina Display option for the MacBook Pro that boosts resolution to 2,880 by 1,800 pixels. For power, the MacBook relies on a built-in lithium-polymer battery and a MagSafe 2 power adapter.
