How to Check Glo Account Balance

Checking your Glo account balance is very easy. You just have to remember a code to check account balance on Glo SIM and do this as often as you need. Below you will find a detailed guide on how checking of Glo balance works:

  • You need to have your phone connected to Globacom Limited. So make sure your Glo SIM is inserted because you are checking your balance on the SIM card.
  • Type in just a single code to check your balance. It is #124*1#. Your airtime balance is displayed on the screen and sent to you via SMS. This is the fastest way to check Glo credit balance.

Note: Glo balance can be easily checked at any time of the day and night. The company makes sure this service is available to all its subscribers from Nigeria and other African countries 24/7 and it is free of charge.

Tips on Checking Glo Account Balance

Here are some very important things to remember when you wish to check account balance on Glo SIM:

  • Firstly, the USSD code #124*1# is absolutely free to use within Nigeria. Glo charges you nothing when you dial this code. Besides, this is the only code you can use while staying in a foreign country because it works for all roaming Nigerians (additional charges could be applied).
  • Secondly, you have to dial #124*1# and never mistake it with other numbers.
  • Thirdly, users who use both their balance and bonuses (it depends on Glo package you are subscribed to) can check the main balance by dialing #124*1# and bonus balance by calling #122#.

How to Recharge Glo Account

The Glo recharge card contains a 15-digit pin for recharge and any Glo voucher greater or lesser than 15 digits, is not a Glo recharge card. After checking your account balance, if you fill the need to recharge, follow the instruction below:

  • To recharge a Glo line use the recharge PIN in the following USSD format: *123*PIN# and then Send/Ok. Glo Nigeria recharge codes have a 15-digit PIN. Example, if the PIN is 2222 3333 4444 555, input *123*222233334444555# and press Send/Ok. Dial #124*1# to check account balance.

You can also recharge directly from your bank, using the following steps:

  • Type in *805# and hit dial from a registered Glo line.
  • Select your bank of choice and the amount of airtime to top up.
  • If successful, you will get a confirmation response.
